I think people are underestimating how unstable the environment is. We have gotten so much rain, in Indiana. We don't really have any caps. And it's HOT. The whole Midwest is looking to erupt. I think it's harder to predict because, we never see hurricanes in June/July. Or this much rain.
The weather is so weird!! It seems like your area is getting all the rain and in western PA we aren't getting any rain. Everything is just skipping over us or weakening to barely a drizzle.
Got family in Minnesota, so i always watch. Flooding has been so unusual. We got 2 to 7 inches of rain across Michigan... It's been so crazy here every week since December.
Hot and dry in my neck of the woods...the foreseeable future. So tired of the 90s and 100s and no rain. Looking forward to November and the cooler weather. Thank you, Mr. Max for your awesome job of keeping us informed. Better than our local weather people for sure.

This is starting to get concerning, a big storm is possible with this, severe weather is likely for the northern plains and the Midwest, get ready for damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes
@@jessicataylor2849YES , had one a few years ago took down trees, electric poles, all in a few seconds and we just had a microburst ( never heard of it) Now im not sure if it was a deracho, straight line winds or microburst? 2 wks ago in Se Michigan. Took out a few squares miles , destroyed borders of 2 cities. Every tree in every yard came down ,crossing roads ,falling on houses , cross the roads and electric poles . Felt like I was in a washing machine. Thought my front windows (west to east winds) were going to blow out and in the back trees, huge branches were falling . (South to north winds ) Crazy huh ? Hate the power outages all the time.
@gferraro8353 oh, wow that is crazy! I watched UA-cam documantaries on the Iowa Derecho and from my understanding it takes so much path it can span an entire state and in your case state line and have hurricane force type winds. I don't think they can issues an actual derecho warning because it is too difficult to do. Only way is to say it's one in the aftermath. I wish there was a way. Too many unsuspecting people just staring at a thunderstorm and not realizing it's much worse than that. I was in caught in Hurricane Charlie in 2004 in Orlando when it went from a 4 to a 3, as a visitor. It is a helpless feeling for sure.
@jessicataylor2849 agree thats why I don't think it was a deracho...more straight line winds or a microburst. It did alot of damage and blew through so fast. I did live in Alabama and had my far share of tornadoes. The worst was 2011 outbreak. I believe the weather works differently ...as example here in Michigan we are surrounded by the great lakes. That must have some factors ? In Alabama the landscape is different. I read how the storms come from the west coast , after going over the Rocky mountains, things change . Hey Stay safe. Take care, just heard breaking news. Checking yt

Explain to me why in the USA there are tornadoes most of the time in storms and in Mexico it is not normal to see tornadoes in the same number of severe storms.????
I just noticed something about your thumbnail. What is going on with British Columbia and Alberta? Every other province and state is neat and uniform except those 2 provinces.
We're contending with the lingering effects of 10% or more additional atmospheric moisture from the Tonga volcanic eruption two years ago plus the fact that the sun is reaching a solar maximum next year which is adding a lot of energy to the moisture that's in the atmosphere. Coupled with the fact that the Earth's magnetic field is weakening and an exponential rate we've lost another 5% in the last decade, all these factors mean the Earth's Shields are down and we're going to be in for some rough weather for the next couple of years.
i love how everybody seems to find you through happenstance and then just never leave. keep it up.
