🌿 Ready to grow your own guava tree at home? In this step-by-step video, we'll guide you through the fascinating process of air layering using a surprising yet effective material - Banana Peel !🍐✨
Air layering is a fantastic technique for propagating guava trees, and while there are variations on the method, using banana peels is an interesting and eco-friendly approach. Here's a guide on how to do it:
    Materials:
A healthy guava tree with a suitable branch
    Sharp knife or pruners
    Cocopeat
    Banana peel
    Plastic 250 ml glass
    Electric tape
Step 1: Select a Mature Guava Branch
Choose a branch: Select a healthy, mature branch that's about pencil-thick. Using a sharp knife, Remove bark: Gently peel off a thin strip of bark about 1/2 inch wide, revealing the inner green layer (cambium).
    Step 2: Prepare Banana Peel
Cut a section of banana peel slightly larger than the exposed area on the branch. The inner white part of the peel is believed to contain nutrients and hormones that can aid root development.
Step 3: Plastic 250 ml glass
Take a plastic 250 ml glass. Make a hole in the bottom of the cup the same size as the branch. Cut the plastic glass horizontally. Cover the cut part of the plastic cup with electrical tape.
    Step 4: Cocopeat And Cover
Fill the plastic cup with Cocopeat. Cover the top of the cup with electrical tape. Enclose the entire air layering setup with with electrical tape. This will help maintain humidity and promote root formation.
    Step 5: Monitor Root Development
Once the roots are established, Gently remove the plastic cup so
as not to damage any roots. Cut the lemon branch, using a sharp and sterilized cutter. Prepare a pot with well-draining soil. Then plant the branch in pot. Give water well. Place the guava plant in a bright spot with indirect sunlight. Water regularly to maintain soil moisture and fertilize as needed. With proper care, your new guava tree will grow and eventually produce its own delicious lemons.
    Tips:
The best time to air layer guava trees is during the spring or summer when the weather is warm and humid.
Specifically, the best months to propagate guava tree are:
    Spring: March, April, May
    Summer: June, July, August
If you are propagating guava tree during the fall or winter months, you may need to wait long time.
Choose a branch that receives good sunlight but is not in direct afternoon sun.
Use sterilized tools to avoid introducing any pathogens.
Be patient! Air layering can take time, so don't give up if you don't see results immediately.
By following these steps and using a little banana peel magic, you can successfully propagate your guava tree and enjoy delicious homegrown guavas for years to come. Remember, even though banana peels are biodegradable, it's best to compost them responsibly after use. I hope this helps! Propagating your guava tree. Thank you!

      हाँ, कलमों सीधे प्रत्यारोपण से वृद्धि होगी। लेकिन इसमें अधिक समय लगता है और सफलता दर कम होती है।
