this is the most respectable type of Pool game in my opinion, gotta call all the shots and have to go number by number or a magic 10 but all called, this and snooker, love them both
I don’t believe Shane noticed the foul. You can see where he was looking when the 8 moved. He was looking at the 1 ball. Lots of people missed that foul from a much better vantage point than Shane had. Easily missable foul.
I do not think the skills of Alex Pagulayan is going down. I do FULLY BELIEVE THAT HE NEEDS EXTREME LUCK in order for him to win more tournaments and become a world champion again. He still needs to train but man he needs more luck.
@@ND93149 Alex may not be that young but still young and not so old for a pool player. I watched him play money games and he plays like Reyes when doing those magical bank and kick shots even jump shots! I am happy that someone aggrees with me and noticed that Alex problem is his luck in pool! When you only rely on your skills when playing ball games you are always bound to lose, less wins but more losses! The saying is always true and will be always true, THE BALL IS ROUND! There is no certainty if you will win, that is what it means. This means you always need luck whenever you plan to do something. When the planets, galaxies and stars aline for Alex, it will be his time to keep winning once again like his glory days in the 2000's! He needs more serious concentration, train on things he cannot do and be stronger and serious in his pocketing.
Very understandable if the crowd and the players didnt notice it in the heat of the moment. You can see from the second camera angle that it didnt appear to move at all
Oop, my bad, I don't usually comment, much less have the one at top. To be fair, this was not the live-stream chat. I recommend not reading comments if you don't like spoilers, lol
There are shots where you can be 100% sure there is no way the player didn't see his foul but this is not one of them. You're elevated and focused on the object ball, so maybe he saw it, maybe not.
ref missed a call on that last rack... SVB nipped that 8 on the jump.... barely even visible so quite understandable. Shane a freakin machine in these 2 sets
I don't think Alex even saw the foul. I think they should add a rule where a player can contest one shot per match for a video replay and if they are wrong it's a foul on them or loss of that game. I've seen so many fouls that the referee can't see from the angle they are standing and it sucks there's nothing anyone can do.
I truly think 10 ball is the best game in billiards. As for Shane - this was too easy for him. Shane can beat anyone in the world, but has to stop making silly mistakes. Pagulayan is a class act. Hard to root against the guy.
Shane’s just a beast in the game of pool I believe he’s one of the greatest players that’s ever graced the game his shot making is amazing and he has a monster break
Even if Shane didn't notice it, why are such mistakes with them missing things these days by refs? Standing behind shane or to the corner you would have seen it, maybe not Alex cause the angle and one ball coming toward him.
Shane knew it was a foul. I remember commenting a video in the past about Shane’s honesty. I knew he wouldn’t be the most honest guy. Pool players don’t scream honest people to me haha
Weird format. makes no sense.... here's a hypothetical... 4 - 0, 3 - 4, 3 - 4..... So 8 games 'beats' 10 games...? Help me rationalize that. WHY NOT 1 BALL = 1 POINT....? Like Clash of the Titans.
For sure Shane nipped the 8 ball with the jump shot.. maybe in real time they didn’t see it.. but if Shane saw that and didn’t say nothing I loose respect in my opinion from him and the referee! Alex has a good heart played great!
There in a PROFESSIONAL tournament, if the opponent or ref didn't call it, i ain't calling it. I don't think Alex cared anyway he was done with the match at that point.

No luck for the Lion today, that's pool for you. There's no better sportsman, class act.
Mika hope your doing well brother. Good to hear you on the mic, cant wait to see the Iceman frostn opponents in their seat again!!! One of favorites!!

It is amazing how good

Well, Alex did almost quit last year cause of an injury.
@@seyumaiayami3536
What type of injury?
@awakenedsoul2638 a leg injry he said during one tournament
I can understand why Shane might not have noticed it. He was probably looking at the cue ball during the jump shot so he had no vision on the 8 ball
That was a foul!!!!!!!!!!!! 8 ball!!!!!!!! The jump shot!
At 49:30? Yep that’s definitely a foul
Claramente fue falta, soy fan de SVB pero estuvo algo mal si se dio cuenta y siguió el juego
yeay s thin hair hit the 8 first..even the comentators don’t comment at all
I think you need a few more exclamation marks.
Very understandable if the crowd and the players didnt notice it in the heat of the moment. You can see from the second camera angle that it didnt appear to move at all
Clinical! Rooting for Shane to complete the trifecta of World Championships
Oh yeah that’s right! I forgot that was on the table. Has anyone done that yet?
Billards is about ability.
Table shots are finite.
Many shots possibilities.
Mind plays a crucial role.
It's all about ability!
Fantastic game!
Alex always gracious even in defeat.
Thanks for the spoiler lol

Shane Van boening is the best pool player. I do not regret of buying the white Cuetec Cynergy South Danota Edition 👏👏👏😎.

Shane isn’t a cheater. He probably did not even see that….
It’s actually shocking how clueless the commentators are sometimes on what the players are going to shoot a shot and how….blows my mind.
there you go S.VB was feeling it NEXT
Sin duda alguna la falta había que cantarla
When it Shanes it pours.
Ya beat me to it!
Commenter actually said Alex is getting older that's why he's hit a rough patch??? 😅😅😅😅
What are Shanes and alexs world rankings? These guys face off more than anyone else ive ever seen.
What a player and gentleman SVB is. One of the best to ever play pool
The commentator didn't even pay attention to the 8 even though it was a foul
People complaining about Shane not calling is own foul. Ever watch an NBA or NFL game? Theres a reason refs are on the field and even they miss fouls.
Does Shanes cue shaft look like a 13.3mm or is that just me?
Classic SVB here
49:25 thats foul 8 ball. Wtf refree
Too bad on the last rack missed foul, it was almost impossible to catch without being near the eight. One of those days for Alex I guess.
Yeah, not sure even shane saw it too cause player have tendencies to watch the cueball when it jump
Part of the game guys the ref has ultimate final say.
Get over it. Nobody saw the foul. SVB was so much better it was ridiculous
Good match
Alex vẫn phong cách.thắng thua đều k quan trọng❤❤
Wow,Alex and SVB dating.
Shane’s just a beast in the game of pool I believe he’s one of the greatest players that’s ever graced the game his shot making is amazing and he has a monster break
Demasiado bien shane ban boening
Anyone see the cue tap the 8-ball on the jump shot in the slomo replay at the end? Still SVB is an absolute unit
Even if Shane didn't notice it, why are such mistakes with them missing things these days by refs? Standing behind shane or to the corner you would have seen it, maybe not Alex cause the angle and one ball coming toward him.
When it Shane’s it pours.
That was a foul on 8 ball, when he jump the cue
It’s a foul on 8 ball jump

more clear at 49:28
49:38 foul shot? lol
Every shot is the critical shot of the rack... 😁
Possible
Nice Shane... Buti nga sau... D ka pinoy...
foul on the 8 ball.

Alex here it is
Your Break is shit
Your safety game has turned crappy
Plus you are not swinging your cue
Jabbing at the balls .
The ball is very heavy, dont think such kind of ball still be used
Alex is just a waste of time now and people claim him to be better that SVB ?
Shane should shave his head
certainly a foulllllllll!!

Pagulayan is nothing now. Simple 7 ball corner pocket he missed.

Shane gonna deny it if asked of course.
Just like every professional pool player would if money is on the line. Its human nature.
