Any unit is good when you have 179 of them 11. Memelukes aren't bad though.
If I had the choice between 180 halbs and 180 mamelukes I't always pick the mamelukes. 180 halbs simply don't represent any significant amount of resources. 180 mamelukes, on the other hand, is a LOT of gold.
@@naphackDT Yea and Mamelukes have omni potential, halbs are only really good at one thing, or to just be regular fodder in front of your army. On their own they don't represent much power, even in massed numbers.
units that do melee damage from range can be devastating in large groups, try massing 60 elite throwing axemen they will cut down castles, infantry and infantry like butter, same with Mameluke

GLX_Rusher is an old Turkish expert from way back in 2001. Came back a few times over the years. Not quite Vİper or Koven level (back in the day) but was a pretty good player 2k+. Usually tries to Turtle-boom vs High level players. I have seen one game where a top player vs him just quit probably out of frustration than actually being in a losing position lol!
That onager shot is nightmare fuel.

@@pugno1145 yeah, did my session work on Potosì and his huge effect on Europe economy in a atlantical point of view ( sadly unfinished because of the covid and the early end of the university session... ). Also as I said, it was only interest ; the world suffered from a silver shortage, so a ridiculously rich ore deposit like the one in Bolivia attired immediately a lot of jealousy, especially of the France of François 1er.
Give me a few days to find it.. it was really interesting to read.

You can only do that to straggler trees, it doesn't work on common forests.

Set the army to attack anything hostile
Give them the patrol order. It is basically an attack move. If manage to reach where you told them them to patrol to and there are no more targets they'll double back of course but usually by then you'll have given them a new command
