These are all things I do too as an aspiring polyglot and it definitely helps my motivation. I speak English, Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese and I'm currently studying Korean and Polish
These are definitely tips I will use! I am learning Korean and I listen to Kpop everyday, and I also watch Korean cartoons with no subtitles. Those two things have helped me with vocabulary a lot, so these tips really do work. I will do this with the other languages I want to learn, too!
Spotify playlists with songs in different languages - great idea!

Wooow! I do what you do to learn languages 😉 I clicked the video to get some more good tips, but surprise that is what I’m doing! So that means I’m doing good 😊
I am currently working on becoming fluent in french, and I'm learning a couple of things in other languages, and I love your videos they have all helped me so much 😊💕
So happy to see that I could help you. Stay tuned for my ebook that I'm gonna launch on the 11th november, it is called "Busy Linguist Bible" with all of my knowledge for you! :-)
What about going on forums or fansites for the things you become interested in in the language you are studying? That's something I do - it means you can try out your language skills by writing comments or posts as well (:
Tolles Video!! 😊😊😊 Grüße aus Deutschland, Sina😘
Wirklich richtig toller Kommentar, Sina!
I promise 😊🙌
I'm so frustrated and jealous. So many people in the comments can learn so many languages. I have always struggled immensely to learn languages despite it being a huge interest of mine. I have never been able to get anywhere with any that I ever attempted despite months of work. It seems like there's something wrong with my brain. I even see some people who made huge progress using things like duolingo which I find so painfully slow and boring and were the least effective tools I've ever used in my experience. I listen to music, watch tv shows, watch youtube videos, read, try to speak my own sentences every day etc which works at first but then after a few weeks I just stop making progress. I do have some fatigue issues that I'm trying to get a doctor to help with but it seems to me that if anything it would just make my progress be slow, not just be impossible.
Language learning takes a long time, I dedicate 90% of my spare time to learning languages and I’m only fluent in one other because I learned it in school. You just need to keep up your motivation, try not to burn out and find methods that work for you.
Don't compare yourself with others! It's pointless and everybody's mind works differently. Just keep trying different methods and try to be gentle with yourself. Also, remember that "months of work" is barely anything, learning a language takes a long time, except for those who are already experienced with learning languages or are particularly talented, whom you should not be comparing yourself to!
Oi Lina, estou aprendendo espanhol quase 100% através do youtube. Pretendo também aprender italiano. I hope you going very well on your studies. Feliz Año Nuevo \o/
Wow So beautiful this ))) Oh!!! That's amazing... new subscriber here.
¡Hola Lina!
Excellent Cherrie, same here :) I was advised Brazilian Portuguese is the way to go, but of course you can be understood in both Portugal and Brazil, minus the minor slang, formalities and accent differences.
Você me fez perceber que eu não estou estudando francês todos os dias como eu devia kkkkkkkk shame on me. Great tips Lina! You made me realize that I'm not studying french every day like I should. Sucesso e abraços :*

i think it just takes a long time - there is no shortcut unless you happen to have some sort of built in roadway in your brain.. u know memo-technique
Do you try to practice speaking the language?
Don't worry about it. I am only fluent in English and I'm a B2 in German. It takes years to learn a language.
Language learning takes a long time, I dedicate 90% of my spare time to learning languages and I’m only fluent in one other because I learned it in school. You just need to keep up your motivation, try not to burn out and find methods that work for you.

I started to learn Italian!!
nice! good luck on this journey!
Jirachi Wish I also started to learn Italian recently!
Great tips! Thanks so much!
You're welcome Ana!
I prefer to use thinking instead of listening music, despite these cases when you really need to relax. Music often makes me silly, dumb etc.
Live the language, thanks for your tips.
You´re very welcome Jack!
Gracias! Me ayudó un montón tu vídeo.
¡qué alegría! De nada :)
Oi Lina, estou aprendendo espanhol quase 100% através do youtube. Pretendo também aprender italiano. I hope you going very well on your studies. Feliz Año Nuevo \o/
