Any thoughts on the First Mate after you have sailed her a while? I am considering this design. Thanks! BTW - nice filet work. I struggled a bit with that building a Chameleon Dinghy.
Hi Sandeep, I'm actually checking to make sure the scarph I have created is nice and straight. The slope of the bevel I am using is 8:1. So for the 6mm plywood I'm using here, the distance that the bevel extends back from the edge of the ply is 6mm x 8 which equals 48mm. Hope that makes sense!
Thanks man. I used fast. Its winter here in NZ, had to heat the garage a tad too. I just go by the rule if it's chilly use fast, if it's warm use slow.
Enjoy your First Mate, great boat! I love mine.

Wow
Hello, at 0:35, you seem to be measuring the angle ? If yes - what is the desired angle ? How do you calculate it ? Thanks

That’s very cool, did you use fast or slow epoxy?
