- A PROPERTY ONCE SOLD CANNOT BE SOLD FURTHER AND THEREFORE SELLER HAVE GOT NO RIGHT TO THE PROPERTY. IN A VERY UNUSUAL TURN OF EVENT VEKUPALU KEYHO SOLD PROPERTY TO MULTIPLE BUYERS USING FORGED DOCUMENTS/SIGNATURES.
Village Goanbura is also responsible!! How can the village administration function blindly? Arrest the Goanbura and take action upon him also.

EAC did his research properly to who bought the land in 2016. So the rest were all scammed by Vekutalu and the Ganburas who kept signing the same patas

Is he embarrassed about the fact that such a scam happened in his area right under his nose and now they're unable to solve the dispute? Most village council does not maintain proper documents and also they are only after %of money when any land sale deed is executed ..that's why buyers tend to avoid the involvement of the village gb and all in the execution of sale deeds

@@between_dumb_pplprelo had never paid house tax Rs. 20/- government yearly house tax since 2016 till today so how can he get his house number?? He is not staying in that house also. Immediate neighbours also don't know him. He never approach the GBs chairman with complaint letter and directly went to EAC. The other parties were under the GBs command since it's non cadestral area. No red book or jambandi is used in this village.

Before you judge EAC First you must know the other part of story. There must be a Valid decision taken by the administration because they don’t just make a decision so easily,may be they investigate 8,9months and come to final conclusion that the land belongs to him.

I am just saying that there might be a foul play by the GBs and Council. So Administration is not to be balme Directly. It's not the job of the administration to invite the people but the it's the responsibility of the land owners to approach the concerned.

It's not about lakhs but we are talking in terms of Cores...
No village level committee should get involved but the department should form a special investigation team to look into the matter ASAP.
If necessary the team should be headed by an IPS.
Next time when you buy land at kohima, chumu and dimapur kindly get noc from the land owner and publish at newspaper and other social media so that no issues will come up.

As per EAC, DC has dissolved this village council due to multiple complaint against this VC and EAC is the caretaker now.
The rights to sell the property was transfered to the first purchaser once the scammer sold the property so the other claims are irrelevant at this point.

Point one- if anyone buys land they give 5% to 10% charge to GB ,VC in the name of land pata. How can someone be so careless n not knowing it's own signature .
Point 2- the administration should decide who will issue the land pata , gb or the administration. So that this misunderstanding shouldn't occur again.
Point 3- anyone who buys land should always take land pata n signature in the presence of the concerned authority.
This kind of case ua so very prevailing in the plain areas of Dimapur... even GBs and Chairmen tend to favour those who fills their pockets mostly... 1ce such incident where our 3rd Govt. intervened and split the plots into equal parts and distributed amongst all the buyers... i feel even in this case, the same yardstick is the only solution.

Why is the Nagaland govt allowing or empowering just a mere gaon Buro to issue land patta,,,,we have very weak and unsystematic govt functioning system inviting all trouble to the society. The role of gaon bura should be only a guide or advice to the govt and acts as mediater between public and govt but shouldn't be final decision maker... We have so many weak administrative officers who can not give decision to any issue but solely depend on poor villagers.

And in this Matter, it's the Village jurisdiction and out of district administration... EAC in no authority have the power to act directly without the consent, objecting or overuling the Paperworks and notices... After the Consent, the District Administration can Interfere

The problem is the council, we should sell the land legally through the original land patta book and not through the village council, they don't have the authority to either verify or issue any sort of land documents, it has to stop and the criminals won't find any way to sell one land to multiple people.

The EAC should have summoned the KK group before issuing the order in favour of Prelo since the administration should have knowledge of KK group by virtue of the administration taking down the signboard put up by KK group.

The village council should be a strong decision power as responsibilities within it jurisdiction. But how can be so irresponsibility as happened this plot of land issues by created 2 to 3 persons of land owners.
I think the administration of DC/EAC didn't done it the heredity basis as give it the landowners notice to the concerned person, without the Chairman & Hd/Gb signature or sealed in land patta.

The village GBs and Village Council is dissolved more than a year back due to corruption.
Administration is the legit body now, even after knowing that trying to get approval from the GBs or the council is just an excuse, getting more corruption instead of bringing a solution.
After buying land , the seller/buyer have to pay between 5-10% of the land price money to the council as tax to obtain village land patta, so maybe nobody wants to approach them.

Just check the sale deed of all the buyers, n whose sale deed was executed first with the lady should be declare as the rightful owner

If he goes with the owner to get signature and meet chairman or GB's during his purchase,he is right but if Prelo didn't meet them,and brought or done by the seller alone,that means the owner play some games,so Prelo may not get, one question, during purchase,who meet chairman, Gb's personally,they will owned the plot.

How high the case may go up..High court supreme court it will all come back to the village council. They will all refer back to the customary court of the VC in nagaland. What is in the record of the village council office will determine the final outcome of such cases.
