- A Property Once Sold Cannot Be Sold Further And Therefore Seller Have Got No Right To The Property. In A Very Unusual Turn Of Event Vekupalu Keyho Sold The Property To Prelo Kotso On 26th September 2016 But The Accused Vekupalu Keyho Has Been Scamming Multiple Organizations And Individuals Using The Forged Patta Which She Sold In 2016.
The 1st buyer should be the owner as per my observation. Besides those who issue the NOC without proper verification are equally responsible.
Is the first buyer bought from the real owner with proper documents? And the second/third and so on, are they have so with the first buyer's sells document?

No hate here but the truth is in Dimapur it is the sema that'll come random and say that the land is theirs and for Kohima it is the angami from Kohima village that claim that the land is theirs.(This does not blame the whole tribe but for a few ones,the tribe name gets defamed)

We have a plot in Dimapur but after 10 years we went there it had become smaller, before nala(stream/ drainage) was our boundary but now they have approached the land after even crossing across the nala, heads in the area supported the other party thuiii

Im also facing this situation right now and im helpless. Bought a land in chumukedima 3 yrs back and since last year someone is claiming as his. I reported it to the GB/council but asked me to come along with the other buyer. I don't know his whereabouts and had even passed by phone number through the neighbors residing near the "land" but got no call till today. Actually i wish to talk to the other buyer and come to an understanding somehow but he is not paying any heed even when he is aware of me having bought the same land . Someone please help.

And even if he did so, right to possession and violation of the Nagaland Money Lenders Act are two entirely different things, there is no clause in the NMLA that states that ownership acquired by violation of the act is invalid.

In this case my advice would be....first, publish in the local news paper with photo of the seller inviting any information her whereabout mentioning handsome reward for the informer. Once seller is traced out , everything will come to light

After hearing all the interviews from many persons to EAC, it is no doubt to conclude that the first buyer is Prelo and he is the real owner now. Now, the district administration should arrest Vekubalu and everything will be unearth, and who knows some village ex-GB, ex-chairmans or some conmens may also land up in trouble with law. And of course, late buyers or who betted their money in mortages may also get some reliefs.
May the police investigate like crime patrol and catch the culprit. So that in future the innocent one are safe. If they dont catch the culprit such cases will increases year by year.
