Great job!! 👏👏👏Wow!! I agree.. this is the easiest and fastest way of making chapatis. Rolling the dough in a thin circle then cutting into strips and folding. Frying them 4 at a time also or even 1 or 2 at a time for beginners is also a nice idea. Thanks for sharing❤💐💚🌹😀
My man is also from Nairobi, Kenya ... He is really craving for chapatis and Im trying to make one for him coz I know he really missed his home and his mom's chapatis ...
I know that its delicious because I make roti its more labor but enjoyable. Gets better every time that I make them . Everyone enjoys them and that’s very important. Thank you for sharing.😊👍
Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe I am going to give it a try, the most amazing thing I love about watching you cook is your measurements are very precise which really helps in trying your recipes,I have watched other channels and they don't give measurements so frustrating, thank you so much scovia ❤
I love to cook, but when I visited Machakos (Nairobi), mwaitu wouldn't let me in the kitchen because I'm a man. Well, she's not in MY kitchen, so I'm trying this recipe! Thank you for sharing.
I like this recipe...I tried to cook. It at first time it wasn't easy but I keep trying... thank you so much for making me to now how to make chapati❤❤❤
Looks very good. Thank you for the decent presentation. Have watched this channel and Chef Wainaina, you both present cooking so well for beginners. Will try to make; as somehow mine come a little dry. Some said to add egg as well but did not see that you added any eggs. P.S. Thank you for having a decent nail manicure as some cooks have almost one inch finger nails while cooking which is most disgusting and unhealthy.
wooow 😀😀😀 this is very great news i'm Bridgit 👍👍 i'm glad that u tried and they turned out correct 👏🏿👏🏿 i'm also happy that i was of some help to you 👍

I made this yesterday, using 6 cups which made 12 chapatis, they were soft & delicious, but I like my chapatis a bit sweet next time I will add another 1tbsp of sugar.
@infoods specials. Thank you so much for your explanation regarding making chapati. I made it for the first time after so many failed attempts, and it came out perfectly 🥰 💞 👌
Waoh , I love the way you are making things sound so easy. I love chapatis so much, J is have tried making them so many times only to end up with crisps (really hard) . I will try Your method hoping it will be a game changer. If not I will let book one in one lessons. 😊Thanks you so much.
My second name should be chapati lol. 😂😂 I love chapos so much. Yours turned out great and yummy. 🤤 That was a brave step. 😂😂 Look at you now, you're doing it effortlessly. 🤗
Hello, never made a chapati in my life but i have eaten kenyan chapati. I'd like to add them in my diet-lol. Can i use butter instead of cooking oil? You were adding some oil in the last part of cooking, what happens if i skip that part so that less oil?
Hi dear 👋🏿 I'm glad that you want to add Chapati to your diet. So yes you can replace Cooking Oil with Butter and yes it's not a must that you spread the butter on them after cooking them. But make sure you cover them at the end so that they don't become hard 👍
Thank so much, the chapatis look so good, can’t wait to try 🤤. I live in Australia and it’s difficult to get that kind of pan. You’re you able to ship it out for me if l were to buy it from Kenya? Thx ☺️
Hello dear 👋🏿 I'm so glad you loved the recipe and you're willing to try it out at home 👍🏿 Now, on getting the Pan; cause it might take quite some time sending it to you; i've checked out a similar pan on Amazon Australia, and i've found a pan that can work even better than mine.. here's the link, check it out -> www.amazon.com.au/Weber-7421-Gourmet-System-Griddle/dp/B0044ELGGK/ref=pd_rhf_se_s_pd_sbs_rvi_d_sccl_1_4/357-2070148-7518659?pd_rd_w=jRCRJ&content-id=amzn1.sym.b504521a-c556-4f42-a2cf-e7e2b21d6678&pf_rd_p=b504521a-c556-4f42-a2cf-e7e2b21d6678&pf_rd_r=X3808HRAWHVPTB578TDY&pd_rd_wg=yoaQD&pd_rd_r=d75b4388-48d1-45cd-bb60-61e64dfd1e04&pd_rd_i=B0044ELGGK&th=1
The Kenyan lady I know said you can use any cooking oil you want. 😊 I personally like using olive oil (I like the taste), but if you don’t want any flavor from the oil, canola oil has no taste and is less expensive by volume than other oils. I just like getting my omega 3s and 6s from olive oil. 😁
The main goal is to do mass (batch) cooking. But since you can't pile 4 chapatis on top of each other when their dough is still stickish, that's why you first cook them slightly on each side. After that its now easier to batch cook them. It's basically an advanced method for the experienced people and allows faster cooking.
