    Damn that’s cool man, I’m sure your stang will kick some ass out there. Your building your car for you not the audience. Go get those W’s.

    I had one on a t56, spent months chasing its issues and could never get behind it! Shifts are slower but take more effort! Like you said heaps of heat transfer into the car and worst of all was all the rattling noises! Then multiple issues where it wouldnt let me shift and other dramas! Terrible product, would not recommend beyond the wenkie factor! The driving experience is nothing even comparable to a real sequential! Went back to H pattern and am so happy!!

      I noticed all the rattling too first time on track. I'm still on the fence of whether to keep it installed or not.

    A W E S O M E ~ I've check into em for my T-56 along with the full fledge sequentials but $$ and install has held me back. Presently my builder is Repeatedly having issues with Haltech ECU install. Haltech has been exceedingly POOR to get issues fixed. Car been in shop forEver!!!
    --- Gear Indicator in direct line of sight Very easy to see while driving aggressively. My ZL1 1LE has the heads up indicator in the windshield and it's great and tells me the value of being in direct line of sight
    Can't wait for Part 2. Fully appreciate your ambition, skill set, curiosity & persistence. Glad the wife wants it too

      A T56 would be awesome. But cost prohibitive at the moment.
      Thats a bummer about the Haltech, that's the ECU I like the best and would eventually go to.

      @@RinerAutomotive 3 Basic problems with Haltech. Very Slow in getting me product then Boomslang harness they provided didn't work. About 3 mos later sent another. Then ECU didn't have proper firing order. 3-4 weeks later as in this past Friday it "arrived". Tuesday car goes on dyno hopefully 650 - 675 rwhp from my Teksid 4.6. So far over 1 yr F.... with Haltech all for drive by wire and then more tunablity / safeguards. My shop with these delays often lost their focus until I do what I do best as a NYC Banker give them a bunch of shit that sticks!

      @@hunterlogan2913nice! Your build sounds sick! What’s your set up? What year cobra you have? I also plan to go with haltech for my 96 cobra! Love their products! I have a haltech elite 1500 and ic-7 display for my Honda build as well

    hey i dont know if you still have the same revurse problem then in this video but i recently got this kit and they added thicker washer underneath centering plunger heres there exact words ,the idea is that it offsets the shaft to the first gear side of the gate then when you rotate it all the way to the reverse gear side it will allow it to stay tray and spring back.

  • @joshuacooper2645

    How was your trans going into reverse before? Mine is a little bit of a pain sometimes, and every t5/t45 car I’ve ever owned has been tricky to get in reverse lol

    • @RinerAutomotive
      @RinerAutomotive  Рік тому

      Reverse wasn't bad but had to make sure completely stopped. Since reverse and 5th share a side to side position and I was having some trouble with 5th I think it's related to the shifter alignment still.

      Same problem in my brothers 95 gt and my 96 cobra and even my 03 Mach 1 with reverse! The trick is to go to 3rd gear and back into reverse, always works for me and my brother

    Hey man! Do you know if this works with the T-45? Been looking everywhere for an answer and I know the T-5s share a similar shifter design, was wondering cause I was looking into getting one!

      I don't think it does. Best to ask the company though.

    Do you have to be very deliberate when shifting, can you finesse it in to gear ? I am wondering if it would be really hard on the transmission.

    • @RinerAutomotive
      @RinerAutomotive  Рік тому +1

      It shouldn't be hard on the transmission if aligned correctly. I think I need to play with the different shims and aligning it better.

      I don't think S1 makes one for the TR-3650, at least not yet.

    • @RinerAutomotive
      @RinerAutomotive  7 місяців тому

      It's just a shifter, still the same transmission. Clutch is needed for all gears.

    Man why are you using the clutch. This shifter only needs clutching when taking g off or stopping. Not while driving.

    • @RinerAutomotive
      @RinerAutomotive  3 місяці тому

      This shifter doesn't change the transmission into a sequential

  • @foxaholic4228
    @foxaholic4228 5 місяців тому +1

    The whole reason for sequential shifter is to make a manual transmission like a automatic, so you only need to use the clutch engage 1st gear and reverse you don't need it for the other gears. Otherwise your defeating the purpose and you just spent $1500 for nothing. Go watch Ken Block drive the Hoonicorn.

    • @RinerAutomotive
      @RinerAutomotive  5 місяців тому +4

      You didn't understand the difference between a sequential shifter and sequential transmission. Research the hoonicorn more than just watch it.
