Ludi it is best as any nation to max out your government buildings at 51 in the capital as 1. Those buildings get throughput bonus so it's more efficient 2. The intelligentsia work both buildings and will have more clout from wealth in capital, especially since they are rich from their jobs which adds to the clout from wealth Really did like the video and love you forever Ludi!!!!
Why does electric fencing liberate 300,000 workers? (at 25:40) Fence repair. Cows and such absolutely wreck fences and you're constantly rebuilding them (and if you didn't notice before they broke through, re-gathering the herd).
I’m not German but I’ve always had an envy for German industrialisation, something about a powerful workforce churning out their absolute best work is just genuinely inspiring.
It was actually easier to build wood production before private construction was added, because subsistence farms produce wood. It's much easier to keep up with other agricultural products, especially through imports, so leaving a bunch of land undeveloped (particularly in areas with lots of other employment opportunities) would bump up wood production considerably. Private construction wrecks that, because the AI always builds farms & plantations in every state.

At 11:45 I was wondering why you wanted convoys bot didn't build them in the only province with low market access. I always start with ports when they need more infrastructure since that is one place less to place trains. Trains will be built any ways so if it's convoys you need, why not make some use of that extra infastructure?

In any case for a major nation that high a SoL, especially by now is exceptional. Is this possibly the good timeline for Germany? One hopes at least it doesn't become some foolish one party state that ruins everything eventually, that sounds more like something one they'd expect from their rivals the French or so.

It’s a fun game, but there a lot of bugs and things wrong with the game in its current state. The warfare in the game is bad and trying to wage economic war on other countries is broken. I can see it being an amazing game in a few years if paradox gets around to fixing it and not pulling an Imperator: Rome. If you don’t really have any games that are fun to play right now to you and you enjoy paradox games it might be worth it, but if there’s other games you’re having fun with I’d just wait awhile until they fix a lot of the dumb things in game.
the learning curve is a very short steep curve, compared to eu4's long gradually steep curve. the economy is kinda fun at first, but after a while it gets boring. warfare is very bad. once you learn how to play the game, there's nothing new to learn. eu4 has a lot flavor in it, tips n trick, playstyle specific for a nation, roleplaying, mechanics, etc if you enjoy eu4, dont expect to get the same enjoyment from vic3
it is really easy, green number good, red number bad. hate how plain and simple this game is. hoi4 is harder because warfare is much more complicated and takes about 500 hours to master it for mp. I havent seen a decent hoi4 mp player below 500 hours.

i don't think there is a way to change it, unless a revolution or a new contry formation, that will kick them out of your market nor is impossible with China have a nice day

@beageler Germany in Victoria games has a lot of potential and it feels like sitting on your arse if you don't use that potential to do something with it. It's a game after all, you should have fun. Some outright conquer big chunks of Europe, some create huge overseas empires, I like to dismember Russia and push it back to today's borders while taking everything from them as independent spherelings. A Mitteleuropa of things.

If you have max 20% economy of scale bonus, then you need to build 21 buildings to reach it. If you only build 20, you will only get 19%.
