Safari mode is actually pretty fun at times, especially tearing apart the entire ecosystem as a red centipede It certainly has flaws though There are quite a few bugs, most notably falling through the floor at times Somerimes movement feels unresponsive, particularly when it comes to scavengers Most of all, i think this mode could MASSIVELY benefit from a spawn menu like in sandbox, the mode just gets a little boring after a while, especially when half the map is empty and ESPECIALLY Five Pebbles and the Rot where you can only really control various rot cysts All in all though its a very good addition to the downpour DLC and im glad it's here

i like the doccumentary idea but its so innacurate, i wonder who made the script. -Red lizards dont kill other lizards, in fact greens are inmune, in 1.5 they usually gave other lizards warning bites and bit 60 times per seconds so they ended up killing them. in 1.9 they dont really hunt their own kind and they will only agressively fight other red lizards to death in turf wars. -Lantern mice are never found underground -Red lizards completely shred vultures, while red centipedes are pretty matched with normal vultures and almost free food for king vultures because of how the red centi AI works. Also why is the eelzard limbless again? is this old footage or are they trying to fix eelzards again?
Rain World does actually have a very weird ecosystem, since in real world ecosystems there are more prey than predator but it’s the opposite in Rain World.

red lizard ecology is odd. compared to greens they occupy a low trophic level, more similar to blues and pinks. where greens are certainly apex predators, only surpassed by miros, vultures, and centipedes, reds almost exclusively hunt small, rodent-niche high energy prey items.
I would have three times as many hours if the multiplayer was easier and smoother. I get there's probably realistic reasons as to why the multiplayer is so jank but like... I wish I could just play with ma friends across the country without having to use the cringe Steam Remote thingy
Too bad Safari mode ended up disappointing and not like what i expected. I thought the idea behind "playing as other creatures" would be somewhat more complicated at least, but you can't even drag a prey into a den after you catched it, so there is really no point of playing Safari mode.

@@emiriyeI would say cyan lizards are the most powerful they are not only common place, have an easy time catching up to prey but are also very good at spotting and hearing prey. While they aren’t the strongest they are the most versatile which, in an ecosystem is often times more important

is it worth waiting for the fps to be unlocked on the switch? the console's power should be enough to launch the game at a stable 60 fps, but instead the game runs at 30 and often lower, although even my quad-core laptop with 4 gigabytes of ram is able to launch the game with an addition of 60 fps
dude i have 65hours on gourmond and i still didnt finish the game once i got stuck in filtration system 8months ago and i never opened the game again its still staring at me every morning from my desktop but i fear i will be stuck in an unending loop of death and misery "i used cheats to unlock him i didnt wanna finish the game as i got stuck on 5pebbles as monk"
If you don’t put in the work to learn the game as the basic gamemodes such as Survivor, how do you expect to be able to succeed on more difficult campaigns like Gourmand? But, I encourage you to try again! Filtration System is extremely close to one of the endings (the generic one, not Gourmand specific)!
