- I reviewed the NEW Garry's Mod Sonic Screwdriver UPDATE which includes new default Dr Who sonic screwdrivers like the 4th Doctor's Sonic, the 9th Doctor's sonic, the 10th Doctor's sonic and the 11th Doctor's sonic. They have a new sonic screwdriver animation which extends the arms on Matt Smith's sonic, it extends the main body on David Tennant's and Christopher Ecclestone's sonics and extends the body of Tom Baker's (basically just Classic Who's) sonic. This new update links well to the recent Doctor Who 60th anniversary TARDIS addon update which added tracking. The new sonic screwdriver addon update also added a tracking feature where the TARDIS follows the player. Recently, many new sonic screwdriver addons have been releasing like some new Doctor Who Lego Dimensions Sonic Screwdrivers for all doctor's, the first doctor through to the 15th Doctor Ncuti Gatwa, there's also a new 3rd Doctor (John Pertwee) sonic screwdriver from the Classic Who serial Inferno which is a Door Handle.

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC since November 23rd, 1963. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called "The Doctor", an extraterrestrial being, appearing to be human. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. Its exterior appears as a blue British metropolitan police box, which was a common sight in Britain in the 1960’s when the series first aired. Accompanied by a number of companions, the Doctor combats a variety of foes like the Daleks and Cybermen while working to save civilisations and save people in need.
A series of special episodes of the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who will air to celebrate the programme's 60th anniversary. The episodes are written by Russell T Davies, and will be broadcast on BBC One in November 2023, preceding the following fourteenth series. David Tennant will appear as the Fourteenth Doctor before Ncuti Gatwa takes over as the Fifteenth Doctor. Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins will be returning to the show in the 2023 specials. The three specials are directed by Rachel Talalay, Tom Kingsley and Chanya Button respectively. Filming moved from Roath Lock Studios to Bad Wolf Studios once Bad Wolf became a co-producer of the series; filming commenced in May 2022, and was completed. Disney has partnered with the BBC and Doctor Who to have Dr Who stream on Disney’s platform, Disney Plus. Disney+ will allow people from many different countries to watch Doctor Who at the same time as the UK. Disney have also given Doctor Who a larger budget meaning the episodes will have better quality and Doctor Who’s CGI will have the same effects as a movie.
Ncuti Gatwa had previously been announced as Jodie Whittaker's successor after David Tennant reprises his role as the doctor in the 60th anniversary specials as the programme's lead, and many reports stated he would play the Fourteenth Doctor and that Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor would regenerate into an incarnation portrayed by Gatwa. Upon Jodie Whittaker's final appearance as the character in The Power Of The Doctor, she instead regenerated into a form similar to the Tenth Doctor. This character, portrayed by Tennant, was confirmed to be the Fourteenth Doctor, with later clarification that Ncuti Gatwa would actually portray the Fifteenth Doctor. Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th doctor has also had his companion announced as Millie Gibson playing Ruby Sunday live on Children In Need.
On 24 September 2021, the BBC announced Russell T Davies would return to Doctor Who as showrunner, after having previously acted as showrunner from 2005-2010 for the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. He will succeed Chibnall for the show's 60th anniversary in 2023 and beyond. Davies will be joined by the Bad Wolf production company, which was founded by former Doctor Who executive producer Julie Gardner and former BBC head of drama Jane Tranter. In October 2021, it was announced that Sony would acquire a majority of Bad Wolf. Bad Wolf also took over creative control of Doctor Who beginning with the specials, allowing the BBC to focus on establishing Doctor Who as a global brand. The new era of Doctor Who is being labelled as RTD2 as it is Russel’s second era of Doctor Who.

If any of the key binds don't work it means you have changed your key binds in the settings from the default. Instead of Alt it will be the "Slowwalk" key bind and instead of R it will be your "Reload" key bind. The list of all compatible Sonic Screwdriver addons are linked in a Google Doc in the description so you can Subscribe to them and use them in game. I hope you enjoyed the video!
Also the "Off colour" issue I was having should only be for me, I had another addon conflicting it which basically broke it. If you also have this then you too will have an old sonic screwdriver addon and unfortunately you will just have to trial and error disabling them one by one and seeing it the issue resolves.

The "Off" color is when the sonic isnt activated and theres no light. I believe it only works with the default sonics.

Thank you for the support! They probably will add the animation to the 14th Sonic as almost every new sonic addon is taking advantage of the new animations and a few creators are starting to update their old ones so we can only hope 🤞
Also do you have any tips to make the 11th doctors tardis less laggy and slow?
Depends which version of the TARDIS you are playing with but I think most of them have settings options to reduce lag when you right click it in the spawn menu

Did you know if your hand brake is enabled you can still take off it’s simple just have on then do throttle+ engine release on just press the fast return protocol however it can damage the tardis
Yeah it's a really fun mechanic
Got notifications on so I know when the 2023+ TARDIS releases, looking forward to that one, but I'm being patient, some people are giving the devs way too much harsh criticism, I'd prefer getting a mod that's as good as they intend with a few minor bug fixes and additions in the future, rather than a rushed one that needs insane amounts of updates to fix things.
100% agree with you, I think them setting a release date for Christmas and trying to rush to meet it was an oversight so I'm glad to see them taking a bit of a backseat and make it properly good for the initial release and from what has been released it looks fantastic and hopefully will be well worth the wait!
@Vanderzz Who how do you make the tardis track objects?
If you hold "X" in Manual Flight and look at an entity if you are in a close enough distance then it will have a green outline which means it will track and then let go of "X" it will start tracking it

Are you able to make a collection of all your doctor who addons and make a link in the description or comments please? I don't know what addons you have so it will be really helpful
I want to do that at some point but for now I do have a link to a google doc in the description that has all the TARDISes I use in specific videos
I think the off colour changes what the sonics emitter colour when it's not activated
That's what I thought initially but when you're not using the sonic the primary colour setting is what you see on the sonic so unless there's a way to turn off the sonic which I don't know about I don't think thats what the off colour does
Vanderzz In your videos we see the 11th doctor wearing various different outfits like his darker one or the trench coat looking one, How do you do it or really what mod is it?
I only use the one player model with the purple coat from Series 7b, the link to the addon is in the Google Doc linked in the description

You have to hold R to extend it (if it doesn't work it will be whatever your reload keybind is)

It should work, I don't know why it isn't for you, maybe try re-installing the pack because there should be a texture skin addon in there somewhere for the map because it may not have installed properly the first time.

My son is looking at Dmod as an alternative (we only have a chromebook). Do you think this is a good alternative?
I'd say that if you can get it and you can't get Gmod then yeah go for it if you think they will enjoy it. The amount of mods for Dmod are a lot fewer than Gmod and as far as I am aware don't offer any Doctor Who mods like in this video (but that may be wrong)

Hey I was wondering if anyone could explain why I dont spawn with a sonic even though I toggled it to spawn with a sonic on spawn?
It doesn't spawn in your hand it spawns in your hotbar where it normally is which I think is the 3rd row

Just 1 questions when I am going towards opening tardis doors are opening by one of the hands in Garry mod would you know how to get rid of that
Do you mean that your hand is opening the door? If so then I would check to see it it does the same with with all doors not just TARDIS ones and if that's the case then you probably just have an addon that you may have forgotten about that is causing the issue
