This will probably be my last video of the year so I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who's watched and subscribed in 2023. I started this year on 319 subscribers and we've gotten over 1000 subs added to the fez wearing empire! This year has truly been insane for Gmod TARDISes as a whole, not just me, many many addons have been made and released in 2023. And on a side note, this video was slightly rushed, especially towards the end, I recorded this at 3 am lol so I'm glad you all like it as much as you have done! Also, I had to cut out a small section at the start where I begin the review of Torrent 64's TARDIS because of an audio issue, which is why there's a little jump in the game and music and things.
Hey, I saw that lately you’ve been having problems with editing lately, it seems that your schedule is full so you have to rush your videos, which means slightly unfinished editing, I can relate to this as I have a full schedule and try to make videos, but I think you could have some assistance. oh its on the workshop and i spawned it in but it had no interior and i thought it was becuase of something else also i have every tardis rewrite mod but some of the tardises have just dissappeared the exterior cant be found and some spawn but it has no interior or exterior and its just the smoke that appears when the tardis enters crash mod got any problems like thos before
also do you know what to do if some of the addons dont work at all some of the exteriors are gone/dont load in and some others i spawn in but it just spawns the smoke that appears when the tardis is crashing and i accidently pressed E on the smoke and it teleported me into the sky @@TEGames
An update for anyone wondering about the new 2023 add on.. the creator has said that all of the harassment and everything over it made them try to rush to release and that ultimately made them pass out from exhaustion.. now the creator has decided to go back and do things properly but we need to give it and them the proper space and time (get it..) to fully develop into its full potential much love everyone and especially much love to the creator of the new add on!
Yeah you're absolutely correct, I briefly mentioned it in the pinned comment but I didn't want to go too deep into it to refuel the harassment and things. It's quite a sad situation that shows how toxic this community can be and it's very depressing to think about.

the edge of time tardis DOES have a moving rotor variant, its just separate from the improved version since i like giving people options also the classic doors on the slickwine tardis have a bodygroup allowing them to swing open, which i think is a fun variant that matches police box doors

The non bigger then the inside tardis does remind me of the 9th doctors Father’s Day episode where the tardis consoleroom was missing from the actual police box itself
Yes it is actually very similar! I was thinking about any times that there was only the police box but Father's Day slipped my mind, thanks for reminding me!
As always, just here to add some additional info. The lighting change in my TARDIS is actually for December since it's more Christmassy. I wanted to explore the idea that the lights can change colour and it will become a new setting when I've got the time to figure it out. Right now, it's not optional but it will be in future. I'm actually suggesting a feature where an extension creator can allow a sort of interior lighting colour override. A bit like how the exterior light colour can be changed, I think it would be cool to allow it for the interior colour. On the latest (yet to be released version), I have changed my floor lights texture to be white and a colour modifier to make it orange. So the yellow lights are still there but the texture file itself is white. If my proposed feature is implemented, I can imagine that the lighting colour override would also need to be able to change the colour of some textures to make the lighting coherent. So I really hope it gets added because it would really allow for more customisation in game for anyone. You know, I've always wanted the most amount of people to be happy with my interior. And that's why I'm open to suggestions on how to improve. Just because it's what my ideal interior would look like doesn't mean I don't want other people to love it as well. And allowing other people to customise it in game and change the colours would be so cool! A bit like the colour control of the Whittaker TARDIS, but not requiring the use of a million different textures. Also, I really appreciate the mention of FuzzyLeo when talking about the classic doors. He swooped in and did an absolutely fantastic job and it has improved my TARDIS so much. A fun feature is that it has a bodygroup to change how the doors open. By default, they slide open. But you can change them to swing, like the OG classic doors. I remember discussing what kind of animation would be best for the TARDIS and instead of having to decide, they just made both of them and allowed the option to switch via bodygroups. So, HUGE credit to FuzzyLeo for just being a great creator and a lovely person, who was more than willing to help out for nothing. I think we both know how the Garry's Mod Doctor Who community and mainly the Kasterborous server can be a bit all over the place. But it's people like FuzzyLeo that makes it a worthwhile community to be a part of. So, yeah, I really appreciate the mention that the doors were done by them because it has become my favourite feature. Also, slight fun fact but the last exterior skin with the posters have a fun story behind them. I used to share a room with my brother until recently and that top poster is a recreation of a COD poster he had. I personally hate COD but it was stuck on the side of the wardrobe for ages. It's fun to think a part of my face is plastered on the side of a TARDIS exterior though. And the other poster is a keep gambling sign. I remember discussing that in an old group chat with my school friends and, as a joke, I decided to print it out and stick it on the side of the wardrobe, next to my computer. It's still there now and I haven't taken it down. I obviously don't agree with the messaging but it's rather fun. But yeah, great video! One of your best, I reckon! Love how well you covered all of them and very excited for your Silence ship review. Absolutely love Brundoob's new extension. Especially those cables with the one connecting the roundel and the console... Might have to take some inspiration... I do love cables. I have always been a fan of Brundoob's TARDIS, though. The old scanner screen popping out of the console is still one of the most satisfying animations I've ever seen in my life. Also, that new 2023 time vortex... WOW. Beautiful. All of the new TARDISes and things have been mental and this year has really made me realise how lucky I am to be in the community with so many talented creators. I have been following the rewrite since pretty much its initial release, when it was nothing more than a portal and an untextured, orange-lit huge Toyota interior. I remember the bottom section didn't even have any collisions, so you would just float above it. It's been a very long time since then but it has come forward leaps and bounds. I often think that if I could show my younger self the current state of the mod, I think my brain would actually explode. I turned 18 a few days ago and reflecting on my childhood, I've realised how the addon played a stupidly large part in it all. I know to talk about a Garry's Mod addon in this way may seem so cringe but it really has brought years of fun, excitement and memories. I have such great respect for anyone who has ever contributed to the addon in any way. Whether it's making developments to the base addon, creating extensions (because a LOT of work goes into them) or even making videos documenting it. And I am incredibly lucky to be in the community. It's something I am very thankful for. So, thank you for your wonderful videos. Especially this one. And keep it up because you will go very, very far with this quality content!!
I want to see a TARDIS that has the regular police box interior, but with a secret switch that can open the back wall to an actual TARDIS interior. I feel that'd be really cool and sneaky, but I've yet to see one that does something like that.
There's one kind of like that as apart of the Edge of Time TARDIS which I forgot to show. In the Edge Of Time Police Box there's a version called 'Destroyed Interior' which is just a police box interior with a black empty void like room attached which apparently was meant to have an actual destroyed interior with a console and things but didn't end up releasing

Yeah, I did show the destroyed interior but I cut it out because it was basically the same but with a completely black interior. It's still cool and very unique but I didn't think it was necessary for the video imo
I have only listened to a few BigFinish stories but they are always so god because they aren't limited by budget and things, I really should get some more
It is amazing, and I plan on making a really in-depth review of it soon but it wasn't really updated much or anything in 2023 so I didn't include it in the video
I hope it is, it's a very cool detail and there's many things apart of that TARDIS in particular that you would only notice if you're looking for it which I love
It's not my favourite, I dont hate it I just don't really enjoy it. It looks like it's in a literal void unlike most other TARDIS interiors, also I really didnt like the crab claws until series 13. There's also a lot of empty space in the interior but I can respect it for bringing back the classic rotor type.
For me, it's because it's too cramped, with poor lighting, decoration, and an incredibly inefficient use of space. As for the console itself, it's an absolute mess; there's almost no distinction between each of the panels, with all of the wires and piping making each side look identical. Compare it to Capaldi's one which used every bit of space it had, was lit beautifully, had distinct console panels, and was filled to the brim with details and furniture that made it feel like the Doctor's home.
Yeah its such a small difference but always the first thing you notice when you look at the exterior, it's very very weird especially when you first see it lol

No worries, I'm glad I can introduce you to this community! The game is called Garry's Mod and you can get it in PC and I believe Mac as well on a virtual game store called Steam. The mods/addons can be gotten from a page on steam called the Workshop and there's thousands of them from war genres to TARDISes, the links to get the mods I use are in a Google Document in the description. I hope this helps!
Yeah it's still being developed and the addon is public right now so people can get it straight after it is finished. As for the release date, it is still unconfirmed but I would assume in maybe a week at an estimate
I love messing around with these but what's the best game mode to actually use these in? I usually just end up going around an empty server doing nothing!

At the start? If so then the one on the left is the edge of time coral TARDIS and the one on the right is the Slick Wine TARDIS, both are linked in the Google Doc in the description

You have to get the addon (linked in the google document in the description) and go to the Lego Dimensions tab on the Chameleon Circuit which can be found on the virtual TARDIS in the context menu/console button if there is one and then close the doors of the TARDIS
Is it only the Brundoob one, or is it multiple? It could be a problem in the settings, maybe you will have to lower the resolution and things depending on the specs of your device the problem could vary
As far as I'm aware the Artron Inhibitor and the Time Distortion Generator are the only TARDIS Tools and obviously I show the Artron Inhibitor in the video but the Time Distortion Generator changes all the control labels so you don't know what control does what and it also makes the TARDIS explode on take off, similar to the Time Rotor Handbrake in a way.
You really should have made it clear that you yourself had spent time in actually building these interiros and exteriors from the GMOD primitives - my children were very disappointed to realise that they had to build it themselves. I couldn't help them, as there are no instructions and no idea how to proceed. Thanks for making my kids unhappy. Leaving a thunbs-down.
What do you mean? To get the TARDISes you just have to subscribe to the addon and spawn it in and it's there, you don't have to build anything it's pretty hassle free sorry for any miscommunication
I don't personally know but the creators must have been a bit behind, I'm sure it will be out tomorrow or the next couple days it is Christmas to be flat they are probably busy with family and things

The edge of time will be getting the thirteenth interior, and it will have the option to have moving crab claws and it is shown in the box version

The type 30 default exterior was used by type 20s as well so it completely fits with the type 29

Hands down, the _best_ one is the 2012-2017 extension.
It is amazing, and I plan on making a really in-depth review of it soon but it wasn't really updated much or anything in 2023 so I didn't include it in the video
The wires going to the right places is definitely intentional. Attention to detail goes a long way.

The 2023 tardis has released but the interior hasn't been completed yet.
Yeah it has been like that for a while, they aren't updating the addon until the release so it will just stay broken until it is done I guess

At the start? If so then the one on the left is the edge of time coral TARDIS and the one on the right is the Slick Wine TARDIS, both are linked in the Google Doc in the description
How do u open the doors I’m new to gmod
If you have all the default keys, which you probably will, then "E" is used to open doors, use controls and is just the main interaction key
at 6:54 only the centre pillar moves, the rest dont how do i fix it?
are you sure you're in the series 11 TARDIS? And make sure you are in flight/vortex not floating or something other than that idk
@@VanderzzWho yeah, definitely I was in the vortex but the outer pillars don't budge aha, I'll have to try changing settings to see if I fix it but thanks for the advice anyways :)

yeah its in the TARDIS settings, I believe it's in the "Misc" settings and if you want to know how to find that, I show the TARDIS settings at 21:11
How do you activate the lego exterior?
You have to get the addon (linked in the google document in the description) and go to the Lego Dimensions tab on the Chameleon Circuit which can be found on the virtual TARDIS in the context menu/console button if there is one and then close the doors of the TARDIS

I love the brundoob remaster but it lags my game so much is there a fix for this or do I just have to upgrade my pc 😭
Is it only the Brundoob one, or is it multiple? It could be a problem in the settings, maybe you will have to lower the resolution and things depending on the specs of your device the problem could vary

I wonder where are the other TARDIS tools? and what did they do?
As far as I'm aware the Artron Inhibitor and the Time Distortion Generator are the only TARDIS Tools and obviously I show the Artron Inhibitor in the video but the Time Distortion Generator changes all the control labels so you don't know what control does what and it also makes the TARDIS explode on take off, similar to the Time Rotor Handbrake in a way.

You really should have made it clear that you yourself had spent time in actually building these interiros and exteriors from the GMOD primitives - my children were very disappointed to realise that they had to build it themselves. I couldn't help them, as there are no instructions and no idea how to proceed. Thanks for making my kids unhappy. Leaving a thunbs-down.
What do you mean? To get the TARDISes you just have to subscribe to the addon and spawn it in and it's there, you don't have to build anything it's pretty hassle free sorry for any miscommunication
