One important step for Windows 10 users is missing, where you have to go to Windows feaures On/off and enable smb file sharing without which the the router usb printer utility do not display the connect Printer. Otherwise the video is awesome..

please clarify, you are basically shifting the USB connection from system to Wifi router? There is no dongle or similar arrangement which can completely avoid USB cable?
WOW......This was something i needed for a LONG Time. It truly helped me find the USB print control app to install and configure for Netgear. My XP Laptop worked immediately, I learned that after restart of Windows 10 it found the printer in my Netgear USB control center. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Thanks for the video! I successfully connected my HP M452dn to the TP-link router and the computer which previously connected to the printer through a USB cable can now print through wifi. However, I cannot connect other computers to this printer. Should I install the printer through a USB cable first? I installed the TP-Link printer controller to these computers but the app cannot detect the printer (while I disconnected the wifi, the printer will show up but says "IP address is in a different subnet from your PC"). How should I do? Thanks!

Hi local guy , thanks for this video. Just wonder , after install the “print server driver” into the router , the connected pc/laptop need to stay on or can be turn off or remove ? What if those router don’t have USB port , can I use those usb-Ethernet Lan port and install the “router’s print server driver” and use the same way ? Assume the OEM router have those print server driver for download . Thanks

I have Laserjet MFP1136 and I tried with Tp-link Archer A7 but it has no option to enable Print server in USB settings. I called Tp link support but they are nt responsive enough to help. Should I put Archer C7 firmware?

you need to by print serve device the device will connect to the printer and wirelessly to your wifi router that's it.

Put PC on similiar IP and subnet range as the tplink router for eg. if 255.255.255.0 is your subnet for tplink then put pc on same subnet.

you can maybe try to send the document on a device that has access to that printer, then that device will now print the document.
you will need static IP at your office in order to access it remotely from your home

This was of great help. Need your help with one thing. I am using TP-LINK Archer C1200 and my printer is Ricoh SP 210SU. I am successfully printing via my Laptop wirelessly. However, unable to do so via my mobile through PrinterShare software. Can this occur because I am unable to locate the printer driver for Ricoh SP 210SU in the PrinterShare software? Please help.

There is no option of print server in router settings page
for shareing printer need to turn on that computer which had usb driver of printer priviously installed.
