Thank you for the tips they are excellent ones. I do agree that daily prioritizing your mental health self-care is very much key to building stronger mental health. Just like our physical and emotional health are crucial in enabling us to thrive and not just survive. Let's keep thriving.
Colossians 2 “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete and brought to fullness through your union with Christ.”
Great tips Paul. I had a similar journey with my mental health. I implemented very similar habits to you, consistently, and found my own way out of the darkness. If I had to add anything else to your list it would be prioritising sleep, meditation, and mindfulness.
Superb video Paul, for my exercise I like to put on a Joe Wicks HITT workout for 20mins 4 times a week is I find what works for me at the moment.....specially while gyms are still closed :-(
Iike being around people but I love self isolation in the evening. TV no internet most nights as its becoming addictive and harmful in my case. I remember being on my own w an with living with my parents and in my bed peace greeted me there and I enjoy those times..a few recond on the record player, magazine. Some of this is necessary I believe.
Hey Carla. Hope you're in a better place now but incase you are not... Tiny goals are the way to make progress. Make it a goal to just get out of bed for 15 minutes. Do that every day for a week. Then gradually increase that and add in another tiny goal for another week. Keep doing that week on week. Gradually you will build up all these tiny goals (habits) and it will lead to massive improvement through the effect of compounding.

All the best with your marathon training.

What if you’re in chronic pain and can’t exercise and are so exhausted you don’t want to get out of bed, etc.???
