Love the idea of using the peels and pits for nectarine honey!!! Great way to use those little bits!

Thanks! I have two cases of nectarines, so I have a lot of scraps to use up! and thank you for watching! I'm a newbie, just learning!

What a neat canner! I think I will be looking into one of those, thank you for showing it. I've subbed and look forward to seeing more!

Thank you so much! I really love using it, and am happy it doesn't heat up the house like the stove canner. It also leaves the stove free for water bath canning!

    I’m sorry about your loss.
Assume you put water into the canner before adding jars?

I know this video is mostly about canning in an electric pressure canner, but I think I spy a cucuzza on your table! So yummy. Have you tried canning cucuzzi yet? I've dehydrated, frozen, and canned three ways: pickled, with tomatoes (as you would for tomatoes with zucchini), and I "rebel canned" as others have done for fried summer squash (it's a lighter pickle). Thank you for the video! I'm going to have to watch it again...I got distracted by the 'gootza.

@@auntiereeses5864 I have not canned it yet! We’ve been making squash fritters. I want to try making zucchini pineapple with it. Have you done that yet?

@@farmyourbackyard2023 No, I haven't tried making zucchini pineapple with either zucchini or cucuzza. I would think that the cucuzza wouldn't take on the pineapple juice flavor as well as I hear zucchini does. When canned with tomatoes, the zucchini tastes just like tomatoes, but the cucuzzi still keep their distinct flavor.

Did I miss something with the chicken? Just cut up the chicken and pack the jars. No salt, spices or liquid?

@@rogerhuber3133 that is correct. I’m sorry I didn’t clarify that. Since it is chicken thigh, I can use it for many different things so I don’t add any seasonings at all and the higher fat content leaves plenty of flavor in the chicken.
