- I visited the famous 9 arch bridge in Ella with @GoWithAli and @worldnomac, but we decided to race there from the main town of Ella. The loser has to pay for transport to the next location! When we arrived at the bridge we were just in time to see the next train arriving and then we met some crazy locals playing their instruments and vibing on the bridge.
The Nine Arches Bridge also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The construction of the bridge is generally attributed to a local Ceylonese builder, P. K. Appuhami, in consultation with British engineers.

@@harryjaggardtravel We don’t say “Inshallah” in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Sri Lanka is a majority (75%) Sinhala Buddhist country and inshallah is a term used by Muslims. You using this term everywhere in Sri Lanka is cultural appropriation and it’s wrong. This is not Pakistan. Leave that term to Pakistan or any other Muslim country. I highly doubt you’d be going around the UK saying that term. It’s weird and wrong! Rather say isthuthi or something related to Sri Lanka or even Buddhism if you want to be appropriate. Stop using that term! It’s annoying and offensive! Not all brown people are Muslim!
@@SKGGG Wow just wow man, it literally blows my mind every time I spot a person like you who'd never let go a slightest chance to just pour out the absolute negativity inside them instead of appreciating and/or highlighting the countless positive things in the particular situation!! Dude, your comment is way more offensive and annoying to most of us and apparently to Harry too (as he didn't care to respond to your stupid comment) than him saying an Arabic word occasionally. As we all know he's an international traveller and he picks up few words of the local language wherever he has been. I don't know why you'd be annoyed and offended by him using a word from another language while in your country. He hasn't said the word to offend anyone. And if you watch closely, he uses a few Spanish words too, I wonder why weren't you offended by that! Awesome. love your guys enjoying Sri Lanka, so happy that the country has still good people with loving smiles and hospitality that was free some time ago, you seem to be very kind-hearted guys to be friendly with the countrymen of Sri Lanka, some time ago British people are considered as masters and had good reputation treating countrymen kindly, you uplifted that generosity by giving extra 350 for that king coconut Bravo Master Harry for such nice attitude, it is just less than 2$ but it could be 2 meal for that lady. ( all your guys showed this act of generosity many times in the trip) Good Sri Lankans do not expect such a thing but considered it a very meritorious act when you give a thing with a kind heart.
