My “By The Book” Father Goes To India (Turns Wild)

- Опубліковано 25 лип 2024
- Join me on an incredible journey through the Seven Sisters of India as I explore this stunning region on a motorcycle! This adventure is even more special because my father traveled all the way from Israel to join me for 9 unforgettable days. Together, we embarked on a father-son saga, connecting with each other and experiencing the beauty of India in a way that words can't fully capture.
From the lush green landscapes to the vibrant local cultures, we discovered the heart and soul of Northeast India. Watch as we navigate through winding roads, encounter friendly locals, and immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery. This trip was more than just a journey; it was a bonding experience that brought us closer together and created memories that will last a lifetime.

thank you for insisting that I'll join this trip.
I'll never forget it, I'm so proud of you!!!, thanks for unforgettable memories and for your love
Happy father.. good son 😊
Sir, you will be fine we Indians love Israelis as a matter of fact. Be at home my country is so diverse that you will find change of language food culture traditions at every 10 or so kms. Readily enjoy it and you will never be the same as before , enabling you to face any challange that comes in front of you.
Heart touching moments in the video.. cheers
Sir, glad to have you here in our country. Welcome for next time also.
It is great to share your adventure with your father and enjoy those wonderful moments. I never had a an opportunity to do so myself. God bless you both!
just to clear you down. you're not the first foreigners in Meghalaya and kids sees them whole round of the year .
North-East India will challange your sterotype about India. It's much cleaners, less polluted, less traffic(compared to megacities like Delhi, Mumbai) and people are friendly.
Totally agree. They even look different
Don't say "India" . Say north India. South is different.

So in North u don't include states like uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir or u just wanted to include up,Delhi ,bihar @@abrakidabraif that the case then madhurai is also dirt, coimbatore is also dirty

Wow - Gal, I love you and so proud of you !!! unforgettable memories for life ! thank you for my best time and adventure
I can relate to this .... traveling with a parent after such a long time is one of the most joyous feeling. Hope your dad liked his short time in India despite the chaos.
He enjoyed it dearly. Its one of those adventures that gives a little change in perspective of reality.
How long was your journey with your parent and how did they take it?
@@GalHefer20 days in the US (about 2 decades back). I was an Indian working in the US at the time. I met my parents after 5 years when they flew over from India. They can barely walk now, but they remember every moment of that trip very fondly. Everything was a (pleasant) culture shock to them 😃

I have to ask, how did you make the dab emoji and the heart with wifi signal emoji
@@GalHefer well! I am sorry I don't know about this 😔I thought It was a smiley face, so I did this, but trust me, I don't know about it. The dab emoji is for your coolness and confidence. Thanks for the vlog ☺
your facial features somehow resemble the Moroccan singer -Saad Lamarjad 😇🤭At a glance i thought it was saad.🤗

@@GalHefer So for me I do all my social media [only UA-cam and WhatsApp] communication from my LAPTOP. so, in smartphones, no such emojis are available I think so , if you have a laptop or Macbook there are various criteria for emojis like '

so for my confirmation, I looked into my mom's phone, and there is no option for UA-cam emoji [logo of UA-cam].
So I think that you will approach these emojis on laptops (not completely sure but [98% sure])🤭

The term "third world country" is outdated and not commonly used in modern discourse due to its historical context related to the Cold War. However, if we are discussing development categories, India is typically classified as a developing country or an emerging economy. It faces challenges such as poverty, infrastructure gaps, and social disparities, but it also has rapidly growing sectors like technology and services.
It's important to note that using terms like "third world" can be seen as pejorative and simplistic, as they do not accurately capture the complexities of a country's development status or economic situation. Therefore, it's better to use terms like "developing country" or "emerging economy" to describe India and similar nations.
Im glad you guys opened my eyes to it in the comment section, I never knew the terms have been changed. Will be sure to address India accordingly from now on
@@GalHefer Welcome to India. Enjoy your stay ❤️

@@GalHefer That was the statistics last year also 70 percent were from neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal ... 😅 So it's like it's hard to recognise them ig .. personally I met a lot of tourist who are from Germany and Israel and only a couple from France 😭 ( fyi the creator of Atm was born here )
You kidding me with the ATM!!! Thats such a cool fact!
India is NOT a 3rd world country any more. India pursues organic growth and peace and "harmonic" to use your word :-) hence it takes longer to look like western countries where the poverty is shelved away to specific neighborhoods while the main downtowns look pristine. India is as authentic a country as you can get-No wars started by the country ever in its history.
Beautifully said about India.
I agree with everything you said except one thing, No wars? Quick ChatGPT search gave me these wars:
1. Mahabharata War (circa 3100 BCE)
2. Battle of Hydaspes (326 BCE)
3. Kalinga War (circa 262-261 BCE)
4. Gupta Conquests (circa 4th-5th century CE)
5. Battle of Tarain (1191-1192 CE)
6. First Battle of Panipat (1526)
7. Second Battle of Panipat (1556)
8. Third Battle of Panipat (1761)
9. Siege of Chittorgarh (1567-1568)
10. Battle of Haldighati (1576)
11. Carnatic Wars (1746-1763)
12. Anglo-Mysore Wars (1767-1799)
13. Anglo-Maratha Wars (1775-1818)
14. Anglo-Sikh Wars (1845-1849)
15. Indian Rebellion (1857)
16. First Indo-Pakistani War (1947-1948)
17. Second Indo-Pakistani War (1965)

@@GalHefer you want all things yum😏
Are you an IDF soldier?
I used to be.
Its mandatory to serve the IDF if you are a Jewish Israeli citizen
India is not for beginners if you think like a beginner.
You are still living in a world of 20 years back.
There's no 1st, 2nd and 3rd world countries anymore. India is a developing country or should I say reclaiming country.
Yeah the roads are crowded, polluted and poverty is there(15%) but the Infrastructure is being ramped up at a frentic pace. Highways, electrification of railway lines, ports, airports and world class mertros are being churned out everywhere in India.
So, India is slowly reclaiming its lost glory.
For sure India is reclaiming its glory. India was by far my favorite country out of all the countries in all the continents that Ive traveled. It feels almost like a second home to me honestly Baya.
Yet, there is no denying from speaking with many locals that make in a month of work what I make in 1 hour of work in my own country, that there is extreme levels of poverty which you can’t deny. India is developing for sure, yet it got a long way to go from a third world country. I know for sure I will get to travel India when it will finally stop being a third world country, with the development in the last 10 years I’m very excited about the developments in India in the next decade
@@GalHefer Again you are incorrect. In the present day lexicon, there is no such thing as a 3rd world country. It's either a developing or developed country.
You can't compare what you make in your country with what you make in India. For example a loaf of brown bread with 12 pieces will cost only $0. 5 in India but the same bread may cost $ 3-4 in USA.
So a term called PPP( Purchasing Power Parity) needs to be brought in accounting for the difference as highlighted by me.
Nominal : GDP/capita is $2500.
PPP : GDP/capita is $ 10k.
So, $ 1 in India= $ 4 in USA.
In a nutshell you need to earn 4x more than what you earn in India to maintain a similar lifestyle
@@kirtigupta9753I’ll take your word for it, next time I’ll be sure to refer to India as a developing country
Another video started off with stereotyping India..great.👏
