Even though almost every single character in this game has a great romance storyline Liara is in my opinion the true default romance option.
100%, I think they did it intentionally, Shepard has lots of interactions with her, romantic or otherwise

yeah... also let's be honest.. the all "embrace eternity" thing would be pretty intimate to begin with...
We all know Sheploo "we'll just bang okay?" xD but not FemShep.

My headcanon is FemShep fall for Liara after the "melding"... would be something too intimate to just brash off: especially for a human.
Also i usually play a colonist either War Hero or Ruthless.. so my shep got bottled up stuff.
I have done a playthrough in which Shep get close to Garrus in ME2 (for the achievement and to make Liara jealous xD)
Liara: "Yes you came back and now Garrus is doing more than just calibrating the normandy's guns"
make sense tematically..
Liara is cold and distant..
Shep doesn't understand why.
Shep is alone, distant to everybody and everything and Garrus is the closest "Friend" around...
Either she rekindle with Liara in LotSB or she is mad at Liara and refuse to see her for some time.

@@andrews.5212 that’s actually my own head cannon as well. I played femshep and felt the mind meld was too intimate to not ignore and kind of that Liara kind of imprinted on Shepard. Iirc they do mention that it’s extremely intimate in that way and why it’s basically an almost sacred thing

The first time my Femshep meet liara, just normal. But when she touched in the deep of Shepard's mind, everthing changed.
The scene of Liara sitting on Shep's lap is so underrated. One of my favorites even if it's small.

I'm a very new fan to the series, just started 3 months ago and have already played the trilogy 3 times. And the romance between FemShep and Liara is the most adorable romance EVER in gaming. I love Liara so much. Cried so hard when they separate in the final fight and Liara says: "I am yours"
100% to me Femshep and Kiara are canon :) love them, I think MaleShep is better off with Tali

Didnt realise this series had such a deep romance between Shepard and Liara. Thats nice that this series isnt just about bloodshed but that there is a deeper plot

The dead fish at 1:35:35 was epic and a true testament to ME. That had me snort laughing xD
In the OG ME2 if you have the three kinds of fish (alive) in your tank that Liara has in hers she'd remark upon it.
I have yet to keep them alive long enough in Legendary to see if she still does. Course you used to be able get her on your team in ME2 when you refused someone else.

I think liara is the main romance because a lot of lines with her are different than the other characters like at the end of The citadel DLC everybody but liara says that the main character would come back and that it was a good ride while liara says that the characters right that they might not come back but it was a good ride

😊 I'm a fan of this fun trilogy for myself I started playing as a MalShep Engineer for myself and for no damned reason made a FemShep Vanguard for the second plus third game for myself when I passed the original trilogy for myself for fun to me when playing this fun trilogy again to I whenever I get that opportunity for myself get again for Hella fun to I again since it's fun trilogy for me to getting too playing it again for for to myself again for I once more for fun to me.
I have several questions:
1. Why do the Asari have mammary glands?
2. And why do their skin resembles that of a reptile or a lizard?
3. Do they lay eggs or do they give birth to live young?
4. Is Liara pregnant by the end of ME3?

2. Dont think a reason why has been given.
4. Most likely Yes from the final romance scene between her and Shepard. She references Shepard’s “little blue children” line from ME2 near the end of the game.
Liara is too young at the end of ME3 to have kids. Shepard is pretty much immortal thanks to Lazuras Project. So it's highly possible that Shep will meet a young daughter when Liara finds us.
My question is are we awake or in a status pod during the between time.

people go on about "no Shepard without Vakarian" but Liara literally saves Shepard's body and fights the biggest crime syndicate in the galaxy to avenge her love
