Thank you for the brilliant, yet simple plan to plan. (LOL)! Love the idea of making a "mini dump " ! I can do this, now i have a catalyst to get going. (Sidebar)- your hands are so pretty and elegant, love the nail color and design. 😊
I actually really liked this method a lot, it is simple to set this up in a composition book. I just have to figure out the calendar part. I just subscribed. I hope you have some ideas for planning using a composition book. TFS
This is great advice for anyone new to planning or just can't get in the groove of planning. I've been doing something similar to this for several years and it's working great. I've been off and on in TNs and rings and now discs and have found my happy place in half letter discs. Never been more functional and it's because I have a consistent planning method similar to this video. I write up my monthly to-do list then break it down by weeks. I write a weekly to do list which always ends up longer than my monthly lol and a daily to do list which is a whole lined page and that is broken up into time blocks (not officially but just in my mind) top of the page is morning and middle of the page is afternoon and of course bottom of the page is evening. Every night I look over my weekly to do list and see if there is anything I can plug in on my dailies or if there is a high priority item then it gets on the daily and if it's super high priority it gets a yellow highight over it. When the new week comes I take out my last weeks page and store it and that forces me to transfer any tasks that didn't get completed onto the new week. From here I can decide what is a higher priority and if there are any new things I need to make a priority. Your two page weekly spread though is perfect for beginners or someone who needs just a bit of nudging to pick up that planner. It's not overwhelming and it's only two pages but still you can point out high priority tasks at a glance and other nice to get done things in a way that isn't so intimidating. I can see someone feeling productive with this method and then wanting to come back and fill in the monthlies and then adding a menu plan and notes section and... and... and... hahahaa. :)
I also rewrite tasks. One reason is to go back and see how many days it took me to complete a tasks. I noticed that my life admin tasks always got rescheduled.
I really like this method generally, but when I have to re-write the same specific task I start to abandon my planner. Personally I take this process slow and think through what I can actually happen, so I just only write down 2-4 things and do just that. If I have more time I revisit my list. If I have my entire list on one day, it’s usually not plausible to finish everything and so I end up feeling guilt for not being able to check everything off. Anyway not a bad method, just making oneself prioritize for the day versus having a huge list every day could be useful.

Rewriting it over and over tends to make me eventually do it just so I can stop writing it down on the list again! LOL. Definitely works!
Right! It tricks your brain! 🖤
Rewriting tasks helps to build neural pathways and is scientifically proven to help you achieve your goals. Repetition is the key to manifestation.
Thank you for not being perfect!!!!! So nice, less stress!!
Love the tip of rewriting the task until it gets done! Also, love your planner cover and nails! 💅
Hey! Awe thank you. And yes writing it means you will eventually complete the task right
I’m definitely going to try this. Take it day by day instead of planning a whole week on Sunday and never look at it again.
Thank you! I just loved the calm simplicity of this, great idea! 😊

Hey sis! JW from Ohio. :D Nice video.

Simple is the only kind of planning that gets done here.
Right! 🖤🖤
This is the method I use with my weekly layout not sure that is the correct name. The priorities, goals and to do list is on the opposite page.
It really works right!!!
