“I was supposed to go get dinner and I ended up at Home Depot with plants in my basket” 😂😂 you’re the best, Robbie! 💚
I love when you show us real life gardening with weeds and all ! Some of the channels don’t show that and we all get them! Love you Robbie 🥰
Freya is such a good girl. Hey friend - no judgement here! “I don’t know why I bought jalapeños, I don’t even like anything spicey.” Haha I couldn’t love you more.
Hey, I've been to the grocery store with a stop at Lowe's which is a block from the grocery store. Plants hopped into my cart. It just happens.
I've seen old allium blooms spray painted red white and blue to look like fireworks to decorate for 4th of July
My mother did that. Bless her ❤. Miss her so.
Now I want to grow alliums ❤ love your videos!
That WOULD look cool.
With glitter for Christmas
Absolutely NO Judgement! I love it!
No judgement! We had a tornado go through our town this week and after 2 fails with tomato's and peppers this year, I went and bought some plants. And our projects are never done! The life of a gardener! What a lovely life❤
“I don’t know if this is organic and I don’t even care” 😂
I love Miss Freya 😍
So glad you just cleared the dead allium leaves and left the spent flowers for interest, they last for ages. Hope Brent is feeling better soon
It’s fine it happens. I’ve been spending the last couple months buying all the garden stuff. Today’s my last work day. Retirement tomorrow. Been making sure I get everything before I start that pension money. Lol😂 Don’t feel guilty we all do this if we really love are gardens. Enjoy your space.
Congratulations, Happy retirement and gardening.
I could just hug FREYA. She is definitely man’s best friend and so devoted to you, it warms my heart as a dog lover! ❤️
Merch: NOT my Roster.
“Next thing I knew I had plants in my baskets.”
And just one word. “SALSA”💃🏼😂
Loving your herb wall, sending Brent prayers for a quick recovery.
You get what makes you happy Robbie. It’s your garden. ♥️♥️♥️
“We’re going to be cool” 😂😂😂 no judgement..I do the same thing! 🌱 The last time I went to Home Depot a Magnolia tree ended up in the trunk! 😮
Good Morning
Good morning! 👋🏻
Freya is such a lovely dog. 🐕
That pink color just pops in your garden after you put your mulch down. 👍🏽
Your dog is adorable and your yard is so beautiful and peaceful, I don't even mind the rooster
Your channel is quickly becoming a favorite!! Love you!
The color of your planters with the beautiful pink rose behind it was stunning. I love the look of the chickens, vegetables in that gorgeous green, and then a perfect rose :) This was a fun video - thanks for being you. And we love Freya.
Lol!!! No judgement flower friend 🌸🌿
19:57💕our golden retriever loves to be vacuumed 😏great video!
Get better soon Brent ! 😷💐💚🙃
I love your garden and how you have such a natural talent for placement. It all looks so lovely. I have been watching your videos each day, first thing in the morning while sipping my coffee. You inspire me to 'get out there'! Freya is such a beauty and a good girl. Hope your partner gets better each day...Prayers for him!
Good morning. You would want to keep about 1/2 inch to 1 inch away from the crown of the apple trees. If you don't then it could cause root and then you would not any apple trees. In fact you would want to make sure that none of the mulch is away from all the crowns of your trees. Love how it is looking.
Another great video! Thank you. Your years is looking great. I agree you should keep the allium blooms. They look magical.
That's why i love you Robbie, you show us the real stuff and so does Janey. I love how your garden is all coming together you have such beautiful stuff. The sunflowers are so beautiful. Mine are only about 2 inches tall. I have never done very good with sunflowers, but im not giving up. Great video.❤
My alliums look like urs and I used gold spray paint and they look awesome. Mine are going in my christmas tree. Black for Halloween would look awesome too
lol. Robbie we just love you!
I plant chives randomly around my garden, they have a pretty bloom, the pollinators love them, they give you a grassy texture and I’m hoping that it helps keep critters out of my garden. I’m imagining that the moles/ voles I have in my garden are tunneling around in my garden and that they hit a chive patch and decide to go a different way leaving my much loved plants alone. So the more chives the better in my opinion. And they’re perennials. 💐💚🙃
Hi Robbie! You're just so darn cute! I love watching your videos. I'm always smiling throughout the entire video. I hope that Brent is feeling better! Freya is so cute, as usual. The mulch looks so good. Yes, we are friends and I would never judge you. I enjoy how real you are about everything. That's one of the reasons I love watching you. I have a purple pepper, too, and an orange lunch box pepper. My orange lunch box peppers typically get about 2 - 3 feet tall, maybe 1 - 2 feet wide. I buy Poblano/Ancho peppers every with the intent to dry them and make chili powder. I do dry them, but have yet to grind them into powder. They are a fairly mild pepper. Yes, salsa with the jalapeño peppers and Roma tomatoes. Yum! When I go shopping at stores that have plants, some tend to end up in my cart, too. It just happens. ;-) Thank you so much for sharing!
Love freya and the blower , it made me laugh. Nothing like having a dog companion to garden
LOL, no judging! Your Home Depot shop sounds like my usual trip there. At least you actually plant them right away. Mine usually sit a day or two before I get them in my garden. Get well sooon Brent.
IT'S LOOKING SO BEAUTIFUL ! I LOVE IT, GET BETTER SOON BRENT WE NEED YOU , OH KISS KISS TO THE FUR BABIES , WHERE IS THE OTHER FUR BABY?
You always put a smile on my face and I love watching your videos.I learn a lot watching so keep up the good work.😍
Freya loves to keep you company in the garden!❤️❤️
Hi Robbie! Those allium’s will be pretty to use in a 4th of July flower arrangement painted as a firework burst 🎆
The allium blooms make it magical, just plant around them. My idea not being bossy, I promise! Lol
Thanks Robbie. 💐💚🙃
They look like 4th of July fireworks. Spray them red, white & blue!
Everything you got looks great! Nice job, love the herb wall. Veggie garden rocks!
I just want to give Freya a BIG hug ❤️💐💚🙃
how cute! you voice went so high when explaining!!! adorable
Buying plants is NEVER a bad thing!
Hi Robbie! I just wanted to say thank you for introducing me to the GardenTime pathway ground cover! I heard you talk about it last year in a garden tour (I think) and ever since, this is the only kind I use in my garden and flower beds. It is truly the best quality! Last year I mulched later than I hoped to so I ended up hopping around garden centers near and far trying to find enough of it and had luck. This year, I sought it out early and was able to load on it up locally. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation!
Freya is the best! She absolutely enjoyed the leaf blower.
Love it. Friends don’t judge.
Freya’s tail went in a circle when she wags, lol (15:38)!!! She’s so stinkin CUTE 🐕 💛
The beds looks so nice after they're mulched. I'm sorry to hear that Brent isn't feeling well. Did he catch whatever Janey came down with? I love the look of the alliums, and I was hoping to have some in my yard. It's my first year of planting them, and they came up and looked so pretty . . . Then the gophers ate them all the way up to the bloom, so I had a bunch of stemless blooms lying on my flower beds. I finally caught the culprit - gophers are the worst!
You have the best!!!! Videos!!!!
So real and fun😊
Oh Robbie your sunflowers are so adorable. Loved them.❤
HAHA Robbie, you crack me up.
You’re so funny, thanks for the smiles.
Same! Sometimes I just accidentally buy things and then later am questioning what I was thinking.... you're hilarious. It's fine.
I don't know why I bought a Jalapeño? It just called my name!😂 Boy, can I relate to that!!! Proud of you! You planted all your random veggies!
Thanks for sharing this with us and taking us along..that Weeping Willow is beautiful with the wind blowing it...your garden is looking beautiful...Have a wonderful Weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another pleasant visit to your garden.
LOL! I literally did the same thing yesterday. At least you can categorize it as a business expense. So, no judgement from me. Just inspired to go grab a few veggies to plant😉
Because I live in a rural area and no one sees my garden but me I usually leave the weeds I pull on the ground because eventually they will decompose. If I’ve mulched and a weed happens to pop through I will add it to the compost pile. 💐💚🙃Or tuck them under a shrub, it depends on my mood that day. 💐💚🙃
I love how Freya is always helping. Am I crazy because I love hearing you say”Is not my roster.”?
This video is so relatable! Weeding and mulching take me forever and I am the same as you thinking why did I wait so long. Then the extra plants 😂. This is life!! You are the very best 🌱
Poor Brent he caught Janey’s cold. . Isn’t it amazing what a difference mulching makes. I love how Freya likes the blower on her back.🌻🧡
I like your bonus herbs and vegetables❣️ You got them for much better prices than we can get. Don’t you just love when a trip out of the house lands you in a garden center?😂
No judgement! Sometimes the heart knows what the heart wants. Not gonna lie, when you said don’t judge… I was all in… like I knew some juicy gossip was coming (not really, I knew you bought plants) but, you had my FULL attention! 😂
Robbie, you are absolutely hysterical 😂😂! I loved the 2nd, unexpected part of the video when you were asking people not to yell at you for buying the herb and vegetable plants! Especially the jalapeño!❤❤❤
Freya is so cute. I love how she doesn't like the wind but happy to have you use the blower on her :-) Everything looks so good. I like how you left the alliums. I usually cut mine but this year I'll try leaving them up for awhile.
Freya loves you so much! She is a doll. I am glad you stopped and played with her. Robbie, you just gave me another idea, to interplant veggies here and there. I know some veggies don't like each other so I have to check on that. Sooooooooooooo funny your stop at Home Depot. You just couldn't help yourself....uh huh. LOL. Hope Brent feels better soon. Don't get sick!PS-I hate spicy too. I don't bite what bites back!
I just love having chives in the yard. I’ve had the same bunch for about 20 years. Already cut and air dried some cut chives. They are so handy just by my back deck off the kitchen. Plus the flowers are pretty and also edible. Funny. We got to Home Depot too and return with more plants then wonder where we might place them. Happy gardening Robbie.
Love it, Robbie. Thought it was over and then- Boom- bonus video. Maybe you could explain to my husband how plants that you didn’t think you’d buy (like jalapeño) end up in the shopping cart. He does not understand.
Loved the part when you were blowing the sidewalk and then Freya. So sweet.
Good morning Robbie and Brent! The Alliums are still beautiful! They would look great all natural for fall time 😊 Q? Have you ever used pre-emergent b4? I am wondering about it and how good it is 🤔 That privet tree is going to haunt you... 😯 your Sun Flowers are beautiful 😍 It is crazy how mulching totally changes the look! It looks so amazing!! 😊 Awe... Get well soon Brent!! Love Ms. Freya 😍 Robbie 😂🤣😂 you crack me up! I love how "the girls" watch you 😊 You accomplished a lot 2day! Love the video.
We've all been there, Robbie - plants just somehow jump into our baskets!! 😂
Good choices too! And there's nothing like yummy fresh salsa - with a fresh jalapeño, tomatoes and some onion... Perfect!
I wish I could send you a pic of my dried Globemaster alliums. Spray painted purple and have them on my fireplace in a vase for 3yrs. They look fresh but are painted
Robbie you need one of those adjustable rakes for spreading mulch
Freya is so sweet! What a good girl!
Too funny! Just like me, I head to Home Depot for silicone, epoxy, whatever, but can't pass up any plant section and even though I don't need anything, plants jump into my cart, they just want to come home with me. I think they sense that I will take great care of them, LOL!
Great new purchase! nice garden bed.
You make me laugh and brighten my day 😂😊
Haha best garden rant ever!😂😂
I have spray painted my Alliums in Red White and Blue and put in a vase for 4th of July- they look exactly like fireworks and have lasted for years
I love Freya so much. She is such a good girl!!
Love you so much, Robbie! Thank you for being you! I could relate to all of it - No judgement here!
I just love your giggle
Hey Robbie, great video! I let my alliums dry then I will cut them. I spray paint them red, white and blue. They look like little fireworks and I add them to my pots by my front door for the 4th of July!🎆 . A few years ago I painted some gold and added those to my Christmas tree. I hope you find a creative use for yours!
Freya is so beautiful
I kept my allium heads sprayed them silver and used them in Christmas displays They looked amazing
Robbie, you're so funny 😅
Sometimes I shop the same way. Idk why I bought these plants, but I did. I love your veggie garden space. It's so cozy
Hi Robbie. I never noticed that you have in-ground landscape lighting! Would you show what it looks like at night? I want to do the low voltage hard wired lighting at my house but it is intimidating. I can't do solar because I live in the Seattle area. Not enough sun! ☀️
Yay for sunflowers!!! 🌻🌻🌻🌻
I spray painted my alliums and put them in a vase inside one year. They looked so cool.
You brighten my day!
Hi Robbie, love watching your videos. I wanted to share with you what i have been doing with my alliums. Like you, i love them. I cut the leaves back when they start to turn yellow and it does not affect the alliums. Once the alliums turn brownish, I cut them but then find a pot or a place in the garden to stick them into. They last forever❤
Metal edging along the sidewalk would look nice and tie in with rest.
After you cut the Alliums spray with mat lacquer or hair spray then add to a flower arrangement. I love it I love it, so glad you used No logic and bought more plants, why because that is what I do. Yes Robbie we are friends. 🤣 Hope Brent feels better soon, lots of liquids.
I always seem to come home with plants. They just drop in my basket from the sky… 🥴 xxx
No judgement zone - I don’t even have a garden, I just enjoy your videos LLM
I really love unplanned 😂
Can you move the privet to center it in front of your neighbor's shed to mask it? That would look nice and would prevent the shed from being a focal point. That color really makes it stand out against your beautiful black fence.
I always save my mulch bags for weed pick up & disposal! Great minds!
Yes, leaving the allium blooms is a great idea❣️ The mulch really gives your garden a clean look❤ Freya is such a sweet dog🌳🌺🌻🪻🦋
I think a lot of us buy stuff to only ask later, why. Mine is usually because it was pretty, but I have no idea where I am going to plant it because I don't have any more room. It's been a tough year, so I too just bought starts from a small garden center. Their prices are great, so I don't feel as bad doing it, plus I am helping a small business. I normally start my own from seed. Just didn't get it done this year. Thanks for keeping it real.
A neighbor spray paints his allium every year and leaves them in his garden for quite some time. From a distance it is still pretty. ❤ In Iowa ours come back every single year and multiple quite well. Love them, I have MANY and will be adding them into a new bed created late last year .. excited .. yawhoo
Actually, I have painted my allium before, just for fun. Worked out quite nicely! :)
lol 🤣 i’m so happy. I’m the only one that doesn’t do that. I go to Home Depot for a screwdriver that I like and I come out with a basket plants and not a screwdriver.
