Things like TTK, reloading, animations, ADS, and ADS speeds are also important. Feel free to discuss what's most important to you when it comes to gunplay in the comments or below this comment. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
I’m here for it. Iwo sold it for me finally. 450 hrs in HLL and I’m aching for something more. So far super fun game play. I hope it picks up more players it deserves it
Seems pretty good, what i like the most from the S44 that we don't have on the HLL is the sligthly blurred rear sight and the back of the weapon, that also imo help with the inmersion; happy holidays!.
I would add, even the bolt cycling and reloading looks and feels much more... physical? In lack of a better word. Your character isnt shoving those bullets into the reciver like its a card in a ATM or something like this, it looks like you have to use actuall force pushing them down a mechanism. And even magazines arent just thrown of and a new attached in a second but it takes valuable time. It really adds to the feeling of having a powerfull weapon in your hands and also makes every shot count and feel more important.
Yeah, strangely I agree. I only played on and off to try and find my footing back when it was still Post Scriptum, and I just couldn't handle it. I don't really know what they changed, or if maybe it was just optimization to increase framerates, but I hopped in for a few rounds last week and the gun handling now is superb. Kudos to OWI or maybe the Periscope guys who finished off their last updates before the handover. Quick tip for any beginners. As soon as you spawn in, set your sights to 200m. It will make life so much simpler in a chance engagement at unknown distance.
Although I don’t necessarily share your opinion in some aspects, I must say that this was a great analysis video! I have developed a horribly short patience and it did’nt get boring at all.
I hope you at least got paid well, because there's a plenty of reasons why this game struggles to keep building it's player base. Before new devs took over, the game was broken, but fun. Now it's still broken, but not even fun anymore. Pacific campaign won't change that. It's just new maps to a boring game. I have over 2000 hours since it was called Post Scriptum and gave up entirely 6 months after OWI/MA's takeover. They keep removing fun thing and adding boring/annoying ones.
I think gunplay in Squad 44 is a little bit "arcady". The ADS times are very low and rifles are literally laser beams with the amount of precision and bullet velocity. Unless you're directly being shot at its very easy to score hits that are usually one-shot downs. I think this doesn't fit all much into what this game wants to be. When I compare Squad 44 to Squad its night and day. Yes Squad has bigger ADS times and a more 3D model feel to handling the guns, also most of them don't one-shot you so I think Squad actually has a better gunplay given the fact the gunplay fits more into what the game wants to be. Don't get me wrong I love when I score a hit in Squad44 but its also very easy to get your head blown off simply so yeah...I'd rather prefer the latter

Squad 44's gunplay has the right amount of balance of forcing you to be careful with your shots but not punishing you to the extreme of squad's ICO
Gunplay of squad 44>>>>>>gunplay of squad
New squad update is really nice. I wish Squad44 imported some features from is like weapon stability and persistent ammo on rally

Blurred sight is more realistic but at least you can turn it off in sq44

That's a bad advice, 200m zero will make you miss all headshots at 100m
i love it so much even with 30 fps worth playing when all setting are right aim sensitivity noise and sh
5:49 Canelo Alvarez
did they take out fixed aim punch when shot at?
I personally like hell let loose better. Feels more comfortable to me.

Prefer HLL personally but all good vibes there’s no perfect game!

What did they remove you liked? What are the boring things they introduced iyo?
I think sway is needs to be increased significantly, especiallly for heavy semiauto weapons while standing
