Every time I watch these guys, I just wonder how awesome it would of been for them to get world wide recognition like they deserved. They are just the best band ever.
King's X became my favorite band in 1990/1991 and I have been blessed with hours and hours and hours of listening to their awesome music since then, along with seeing them in concert numerous times. In fact, I saw them for the second time one night before this broadcast -- 5/21/92 in Atlanta at the Roxy!!! (I wish that I knew they were going to be on TV the next evening.) I've been so fortunate to see them live throughout their career: 7/27/91 Atlanta 5/21/92 Atlanta 11/11/98 Atlanta 2/27/99 Athens, GA 8/7/00 Chicago 11/3/01 Chicago 2/21/03 Lemont, IL 8/9/08 Chicago 12/9/08 Chicago 6/27/09 Chicago 9/12/15 Greensboro, NC 7/13/19 Laconia, NH
Longtime fan but never saw these guys live. Till tonight that is! In 2022 they are STILL sounding tremendous and their new album is very impressive. Thanks for sharing this!
@@KISSDUDE333Well, it didn't make it out 2 years ago but I have the LP/CD/T-Shirt bundle pre-ordered for Sept 2. I've been wearing that new single out myself. At first I thought it was a little mediocre until the chorus hit and then I felt like it was 1988 again. Catch 'em live if you can. Probably not much more touring by these cats. Cheers!

There are a whole lot of deaf people in the world. Otherwise, King's X is the biggest band on earth. I just can't understand it. They literally, have it all and, bring it live. I pity all the tone deaf, non-discerning people.
@@fearlessstudios1 Wow. Thanks for reply. I have never seen them come in a package like that. I was a huge CD collector- Perhaps it was an American thing... Thanks for answering.
"Never really got credit for how good they are" WHY DO PEOPLE SAY THINGS LIKE THIS? I wish they wouldn't. People can say what they like but comments like that perpetuate the idea that they somehow failed in the business or fell short of some 'magic place' that doesn't exist. They have been successful without losing their distinctive voice, never selling out and what's more they are ADORED all over the world and have been for over 30 years. I appreciate the OP was six years ago so it was before they went Top 10 on the billboard with their last album but even then... It's BOLLOCKS (maybe they should record a new song with that title with a similar groove to 'It's Love' and sing about it!!)
Dude your missing the point IMO here …. Since the late 70s and still personal friends with him, it’s not that they would’ve ever changed or sold out but it would’ve been nice for them to have further acclaim / recognition and more importantly that they could have made money at this love of music, they dedicated her life for !!! ..as these guys are still struggling to pay their bills‼️ 💔💔 - when bands with none of this talent have become Deci- millionaires‼️
One of the best power trios. I still believe they never got the recognition they deserve.
In the conversation of greatest rock trio's of all time

They HAVE got worldwide recognition. What's this 'magic place' that people seem to think they missed out on?

Dug’s bass tone is so fat and crunchy that there’s plenty of body to the mix when Ty takes his solos. Awesome.

Oh yeah, KX was on top of their game here!
A Beatles salute, Ty played the melody from “Norwegian Wood” at the end of “It’s Love”. 😎
I remember seeing these guys and there were guitar players there with tablature notebooks writing down how he did a couple of the cords. \m/
That 12 string base tho..crushing tone!
