- Day 17 Progress :
First proper run/race with a friend who's also new to drifting / mountain racing with the G293 Logitech!
No we didnt plan to reenact MF ghost but it was just a coincidence that he wants to get the GT86 IRL so he wants to practice with that car.
I learn I'm full sending it too often and forcing it to drift every time so this time I took it slower and drive more properly. Focusing on throttle and race lines, outside inside outside !
I try not to crash the car, as I treat it like a real life situation.

in this series, I'll be driving on Mt Akina everyday until I learn to do it smoothly, and eventually drift. I'll be posting my timelaps until I improve myself, and go to the real Mt Akina and properly drift there, and become a professional racer!
I'm new to sim racing, as its slippery for me compared to IRL
all these videos are for my self improvement, so advices are welcomed!
hoping one day I can race fellow racers too, make friends and race on these mountain pass :)
Even if I dont upload everyday, I try to do a lap of Akina before I sleep!
I work double shifts on 3 -4 days so I get tired when I get home but Im dedicated to learn how to drift!

hey! I noticed u got a lot better since the last time I saw your channel. I noticed there were a lot of corners where you attempting to trail brake. Trail braking is a really good technique to learn, though it is just as tedious to learn as it is useful. I saw at some points in your run where you used too much brake pressure, which in turn gave you more understeer on entry. There were other times where I noticed you used too much steering angle on entry which also gives more understeer. Its good to mess around and experiment with different brake pressures and steering inputs on different corners to learn what's best for inducing oversteer. I love the dedication and keep it up bro!!

I love how the video games make it look so fast, I did my own illegal USA touge and it looks like I'm going slow af even though I'm going 40 in hairpins
Depends on the game but also on the user settings, higher fov looks faster because there has to be more info on screen per frame
nice work! don't be afraid to shift up if you run out of gear. more often than not you'll find the engine falls back into the torque band and you'll gain just a little bit more acceleration, and the car will be more stable as you arent pinging off the limiter where all the horsepower is. Great improvement though, your driving is a lot smoother!

great improvement!! now you have to try to get the braking zones down. You are overcorrecting, be smoother w the wheel. Also try the drift 86 w semislicks on the downhill too 👍👍
Yes will try that soon! Braking zones as in when to slow down? Or when to start initiating the drift?

You're getting the hang of braking zones, still very understeery, try braking less and releasing the brakes faster while turning to slide
dont keep spinning the wheel when you understeer its just gonna make it worse instead focus on the pedals
I think i stopped spinning the wheel here, my hand is stuck like the duct tape death match! An uncontrollable understeer cant be saved with pedals though can they?

@@realTakumifujiwarayou can clutch+brake like takumi does when driving the 85 in the series, he tries to drift but the 85 tyres + open differential made it impossible so he was about to hit the guardrail but...
