I made a mistake a year ago for wearing a camouflaged hat and actually got accused of trying to be like Varg. I didn't know that people like me that go fishing and hunting and wear camouflage for this reason are actually a bunch of "Vargs" running around in the woods murdering ducks and burning down squirrel nests until I read that comment. Some people are so simpleminded. I can think that Burzum is one of (if not THE) most important bands in second wave BM, and at the same time realize that Varg is not a cool guy. I admire his music, but I don't have a picture of him in my Trapper Keeper and draw hearts all over it. 😁 Nightingale is pretty different from EoS but I think you will find something to like with their blend of hard rock/prog/AOR.
