As a croatian I can assure you we are all very proud and very happy for our Marko. He already ate it. He made a name for himself, he did what he enjoys the most and that is making music and performing. His hard work and humble spirit already payed of. The world loves him, the crowd loves him. At this point he can't dissapoint.

This evening's gonna be both exciting and worrying.
I still can't get over the fact that the jury votes are based on different performance. This is just stupid. Can't just get them juries sacrifice one night to watch the same performance? If France gives perfect performance in the grand final, who cares about something nobody else except juries saw? This is insanely stupid.

Since it all started 3 months ago, BL has been the favorite, only the songs that tried to dethrone him have changed. Ukraine, France, Italy, then Europapa appeared, then Nemo, then Ireland and finally Israel came. You tried everything, from insinuating plagiarism, that he can't sing, that he's not good...but BL remained constant. And in all of that, he remained the same humble, decent boy from a small town in Croatia. No matter how it ends tomorrow, he won for us. 😻🇭🇷♥️

Italy have blown their chances by going with a typical eurovision diva performance by having mango surrounded by dancers instead of a ''LENA-LIKE PERFORMANCE '' and allowing her and her natural quirkyness to be the focus of the performance . It should have been all about her SOLO that expressed her sexy, youthful personality . What a waste !

I am Lithuanian and its funny to see the chart in the end and most of those songs are indeed on my constant repeat on Spotify lol. I cant stop listening to Ireland, Israel and Ukraine, and the charts really seem to show that! :D

I’m a relatively Eurovision fan and I’m in the USA 🇺🇸, so take this into consideration when reading my comments, I am not an expert by any means. I feel like this is going to be a tough year to predict because honestly there are so many really good songs. I personally love Croatia 🇭🇷 and France, but there are so many others that could win that I see as deserving. Some songs that I enjoy I don’t see winning or voting for are really good pop songs that I have on my playlist. Then there just the entertaining songs, like No Rules and Zorra. All of these variables are what make this song contest so special and the reason it stands out from other contests. I know it can get political and it seems like every year there is some controversy, but Eurovision is so unique, you should be proud and excited to be part of this unique event. Much love and support to all of the participants, you are all amazing performers and represent your country well. I know they must be so proud. Good luck to all

I really hate the fact that we were in 3rd position for the favorite to win and now we are only at the 8^ places…
First of all: I think about moving to Lithuania now looking at the spotify streams 😅 Wasn't it already last year that Lithuania streamed so many ESC-songs?
Second: I have Croatia as my first and my second is Switzerland (he does a good job there and my previous 2nd wasn't that good). So, there could be a realistic chance that we see a split screen of them two. And if this happens, I will already smile and then it is only a thing if I go to bed with a big smile or the biggest smile I can make :D

I hate looking at the odds but I hope they are right this time.with regards to rai last night on the news they apologized for the mistake but said that the voting results were done correctly. So the votes are right then? They really made a mess of already a delicate situation. Anyway remember even if italy votes 100 percent Israel its only 12 points among 40 other countries so I dont think its an indication of who can win.Albania was second but they didnt even qualify. 1. Ireland or Switzerland (I really can't choose)

The way the juries will treat Ireland is probably the most unpredictable thing currently. They could borderline win the jury vote or be bottom 5 and I wouldn't be surprised with either result.

Thank you for pointing out that being number 23 in winning odds does not mean that you are unlikely to be in top 10. Many media outlets report the order in the winning odds as a prediction for the order in the final results.
Moldova in 2022 was projected to not even reach the Grand Final and it got a decent final place thanks to the televote, if I recall

who with me for a top 5 for Silvester? I saw a clip of him and he can play the instrument that Estonia uses. Either Lasagna and Nemo need to win they are just so good and loveable! The Ukrainian girls and Gate are epic. Dons, Iolanda, Slimane, Teya Dora are gorgeous - impressed that the televoters have voted for beautiful ballads. Bambie and Raiven are arty and adorable. Finland and Estonia will be a laugh. Armenia is bags of fun. Marina and Angelina are lovely. Whatever the outcome, during this season we discovered amazing artists and extended our horizons. (If I put Bambie on a CD, I'll make sure I get the piano version though but I love their personality and that cover of Zombie). I also fell in love with Besa, Mustii, Luna and Aiko. I can see any of these artists going from strength to strength after the contest because they are so original and full of ideas. And Joost and Ollie are already stars and I can see why. Most of it, there is still really something for everyone.
Don't be sad if Germany ends towards the bottom because I love him and he deserves to be in the talented class of 2024.
If I could vote for you, I would because your enthusiasm never failed.

I like Nemo's song the best from what I've heard, but I haven't heard everything. I casually have been following. I think Croatia will win just because last year the public vote didn't win and they might want to make sure the public feels satiated this year as I see most people on the interwebz liking that song.

I got to be honest, before the shows I did not really care about France, Georgia, and Portugal but after the shows they are now in my top 10. Vocally, I think they are some of the strongest this year. I also really hope for a higher result for Serbia (the first time in 3 years I really like my country's song) and Armenia (cause we need these kind of vibes right now).
Also, I would kindly ask everyone not to be mean to Eden no matter the result tonight. She is just a young talented singer with a beautiful song (imo) and should not be judged by the actions of her government.

I think iTunes probably is a good indicator based on Eurovision's voting system. Even though hardly anyone uses it anymore, it can show particularly rabid fan bases and display that small pluralities can equal higher results. The fact that Israel are nowhere on Spotify/Apple Music - which require broad support - show that the majority don't connect with the song.
How was Finland last year in Spotify? iTunes?
Which makes it all even worse, because despite all the performative efforts by the organization to prove Eurovision is not a political platform, people clearly vote for political reasons. And they don't care because at the end of the day you can be political, you just have to do it outside of the event. Unless you're Israel, then you can share your propaganda inside.

The biggest disgrace is EBU burying ukraine in 2nd position and to less extent Israel in 6. Ukraine was favorite to win burying it like that is unprecedented. They obvioualy want crostia or switzerland to win. Out of those two I prefer croatia.

It's devastating. Joost Klein has been disqualified and will not perform in the finals. A female staff memeber said that he Joost threatened her behind the stage and went to the police. The organisation said that it's not acceptable and disqualified Joost, without waiting for the conclusion of the police investigation.
The organisation know that Joost were gonna win tonight. And the organisation want Israel or Kroatia to win the contest. So they had to try something.
Some countries want to withdraw of the competition to support Joost Klein.
This is ridiculous. This is painful. The money that The Netherlands entrepreneurs will lose today is huge. They have made Joost Klein chocolates, Joost Klein cupcakes, Joost Klein merchandise, Joost Klein parties, etcetera.

I really disagree with the decision and think Israel then also should be DQ because of very rude remarks by KAN commentators on air against competitors and also by the Israeli delegation.
But I don’t think Joost would have won anyway tbh, he went down in the odds a lot after his performance and rehearsals after the staging and vocals was criticized to be lackluster. And while EBU seems to REALLY want Croatia to win (Look at the running order he got, and the potential for a Croat win to pull several non competing Balkan countries back to ESC) - I do think EBU really don’t want Israel to win in order to prevent a new 2022 situation that this time is MUCH more controversial and might lead to the downfall of the entire contest by boycotts and cement the contest as a battlefield of showing political support rather than voting for the best song. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the EBU secretly would tell juries not to vote for Israel in order to save the contest. They also got a really bad starting number.
Netherlands wasn't going to win tonight. If its true that Joost Klein did threaten someone, then he has to be removed from the contest. What defence could there be, they were a worker, not some random person.
