    Is there a way to completely factory reset the unit?

      You can quite easily reload all the stock profiles by plugging it into a computer. If you want to reset all the lifetime statistics too, then that requires reflashing the firmware which can also be done via the satiator software.

    This was a 36 V setup video, I wanted a 48 V setup! I bought my satiator 2 days ago and it came with 48 V standard as default. I did not order this profile so I think that I was sent a used satiator. First time I charged my battery, when it was finished It showed 2 bars on the bike display. How do I reset the satiator to new specs? Shows firmware 1.0

    Are there follow on videos to this? I couldn't find any. Just purchased one through the Grin online store and would like to setup multiple custom profiles. But every time I go to create/save a new profile the previous one I created is no longer available on the list of profiles. Can I create multiple custom profiles without connecting the charger to my computer to program? What am I missing? Please help.

    Can you edit individual profile settings? I have a SLA battery 24 volts 7ah. Whats the max amps I can charge it at as I currently have to wait an entire day for it to charge before the kids can ride their vehicle?

      Yes you can create custom profiles and have the settings however you like them. You don't want to charge a 7Ah battery at more than about 2.5 amps or so, SLA batteries don't like to be rapid charged the same way that you can with lithium and other chemistries.

    if I were to purchase the 72v 5a for my 84v 28ah battery. could I also use this same charger to charge my 48v 23ah battery of a different e-bike I have? i'm looking for 1 charger that can charge both battery packs.

      Yes for sure, the 72V satiator model will work just fine charging 48V battery packs as well. You'll just be limited to 5 amps maximum charging current, so it won't have the full 360 watts of power that it can do at the higher voltages but 5 amps is still going to be a decently fast charging rate even for a large 23Ah pack. .

    Can you wake lithium battery from sleep and give commend to bms?????

    • @GrinTechnologies
      @GrinTechnologies  9 місяців тому +1

      Every BMS circuit can be different in this regards. Most will automatically wake up the moment that charge current is detected, some require a button press. Some only reset if you unpower and repower them. Most BMS boards with communication won't respond to commands when they are in shutdown / sleep mode, since by definition a circuitaboard isn't really asleep if it's listening to a communications channel.

    Can a lad charge 2 batteries at once? Can he?

    • @GrinTechnologies
      @GrinTechnologies  8 місяців тому

      If they are hooked up in parallel then yes, in that case just connecting the charger to one battery will charge them both together

    "if you want to create a profile for your battery then you can"
    Then he doesn't show how this is done...😂🤣
    I am already aware on how to do this but for some this might be challenging.

      Hi James, indeed we are long overdue to make a more updated Satiator video and a deeper dive into all the custom settings. Expect that to happen in the months ahead.
