- I spent way too long making this.
I have some more ideas for some more dumb videos like this but I really need to get better editing software and learn how to use it. But hopefully this is somewhat entertaining/informational/something.

Thanks for watching!
Keep making cool noises!
It doesn't look good, but it looks better than the last video.
Hope you like. Muah.
The backing track and the image quality border on spooky, but: nice tone and nice playing!
Since UA-cam has taken to recommending small unknown channels all the time, it is really rare that it sends something _good_ my way.
Today is one of those rare days.
Hey thanks a lot!
My image quality comes down to “I don’t know what I’m doing” ha…
The backing tracks bordering on spooky works for me! I figured looping my own would be better than a generic MIDI track I stole from somewhere.
I appreciate that every time you mention Gilmour by name you flash the most awful picture you can find of him.
The people have to know who I'm referring to.
I actually used a Grunge for a bit to cover Gilmour tones. It is possible folks & yes as you said. It’s all in how you use it
Solid playing, man. If I had the money I'd buy you an SM7.
Thanks! I’ve got other mics, a good ol 58 is just my lazy go-to haha
@@thebreakfastmenu I need to get one, been borrowing the guitarist's spare mic for months now. I'll keep watching, maaaaan.
@@davidwood9966 If you're after that SM7 sound, I definitely recommend getting a good old SM57 and one of the windscreens they make for them, and a cheap mic preamp. You'll save some money and have a pretty comparable sound.
@@thebreakfastmenu yeh! In the first place the SM7 was Shure spending money on R&D to make the ultimate 57. I saw it somewhere.
I swear Shure are gonna be the last guys standing after this whole podcast/UA-camr bubble bursts, the only person with a million plus subscribers that doesn’t use the SM7 that I can think of would be Louis Rossman and he’s probably just got a stick in his ass that they have a tri-lobe screw in them somewhere, knowing him.
Gudday from Western Australia! I play bass in cover bands cos it’s easy and no one else wants to.
@@davidwood9966 Well good to have you here!
Pewdiepie has avoided the SM7 somehow this whole time. Although he has jumped on the EV RE20 (or some variation of it) train recently.
But yeah, Shure rules. I'm an Illinoisan, I do wish they still made mics here. But they're still made as they always were. I've always said, in a zombie apocalypse situation, my weapon of choice is a 58 ha...
Great review ☺️👌 talk like a hard bitten gumshoe detective, play guitar like a god 🙏😆
Why aren't you huge dude? 😂
Physically, I AM a pretty big dude...
Loved it, this is more how UA-cam used to be before everything got to slick and production perfect. Happy to sub and looking forward to more. Some righteous playing too!
Thanks! I tell ya, my not-so-slick production isn't from a lack of trying! Cinematography (if you can call it that) isn't my skillset I suppose ha
Bro, you need more subs and views.
Great video. Subbed!
I was a grunge pedal hater but after 6 months in Davey Gilmour rehab I can say I am a fan. I've been converted and baptized in the tone
