George and xeno, so fun to tag along with you and see so many new to me antiques and collectibles. I also love seeing other parts of the country. I am awestruck at your stamina. I'd be taking a nap in the van every once in a while. Please keep the toad trips going. So 😁 fun
I get it..why you love doing this. Beyond sharing your knowledge, it know that feeling of being happy and proud, and excited when you SCORE snagging a treasure!! You're more joyful than most. Lucky you.
A note about sets of glasses, cups, etc. In Japan there are rarely sets of four pieces because the kanji for the number 4 has the same sound as the kanji for death, so sets usually come in three, five, etc.
watching some old vids of flea market shopping...when you mentioned a postcard with a button on it, it brought back a memory of my young self not having a stamp and taping a nickel and a few pennies to the right hand corner of an envelope and posting it! I wish I could remember what I sent and if the recipient ever received the envelope. I do remember sending some hard candy in a hand made birthday card to my Grandmother in the next town over, how I wish she was still with us to answer so many questions! Thanks for bringing up a long forgotten memory!
One of these days, I'm going to catch one of these shopping trips live! I now know this was done 2 years ago, but I still have to tell you. THAT WAS A PUG! There are 2 things I know about, Elvis and Pugs!
@Melanie Peppard, I must ask... Are you related to actor George Peppard, star of the TV show "Banacek"? He was also in Breakfast at Tiffany's, as well as The A-Team. Married five times, lol, so it's worth the query!!!
Really great video. Started watching it when you were streaming live but had company come in so I had to stop. Good thing I did. If I had watched you live I would have been saying "Get that one for me" and I would have spent all of my money. That last shop was a killer. Loved it. Thanks for the fun.
armadillos my mother used to chase armadillos when they were kids and they would go in the hole and they would end up getting them by the tail and their tails will come off real easy🤸🤸🤸🤸
Hi George I enjoy very much watching you both hunting for treasures and as a Duo you team up really good in your search that I think you should change your business name to The Antique Duo Nomad 🤔 keep up the great job !!!!
It sounded like your dad used an after-shave called "Crocheted Thingie" lol. Fyi, we have armadillos in Missouri as well, which really shocks me. They get hit by cars & I just hate that. Loved the $6.95 donkey S&P shakers. Adorable!!!
hi just want to ask u ,i have an oval ruby red bowl ,about 4in long and about 2in tall,i love it so much, but i have no idea, also thank u for another great video
Oh, that's so specific to the type of merchandise you're after! I find bargains everywhere and I find high prices on things of local interest everywhere
We think it'll be better now that new equipment has arrived. We weren't prepared for the bad reception and realized we had to improve things to go live in future
I love to go pretend shopping with George & Xeno 💚
Perfect.. what better way to show what was popular in the 80s.. love it!
so happy for your knowledge & shopping!!
It feels so warm and personal to be able to “go along”. Thanks, Xeno and George!
So glad to take you! Please come along any time
I like it when you hit different spots and take us along for the ride...
I'm rewatching a lot of Antique Nomad. Watching George is a Natural High! 😃
Aww thanks! Have fun
I am new to being a George fan, he is so friendly and likable. Last week I watched him sell with Misty from something vintage hunter
You two are fun to hang out with, thanks for taking me along.
Any time!
Love the sunburst behind you !

I'm glad it shows, that's a lot of what I want to share, even beyond knowledge! This is all about fun
Love watching your channel. I learn something new every time! You are so smart, and I love your laugh George... hee, hee, hee!
My laugh is an acquired taste, people love or hate it but it's all I've got!
A note about sets of glasses, cups, etc. In Japan there are rarely sets of four pieces because the kanji for the number 4 has the same sound as the kanji for death, so sets usually come in three, five, etc.
That's why! I always wondered why the sets weren't in fours. Fascinating!
The same is true in China as buildings don't have the fourth floor
You are so intelligent to be so young. I love your videos. I see a lot of stuff packed away in my building.
Just love following you around and learning so much. Thank you 💗
Thank you too!
George I would buy that ashtray at the right price
I got my wedding dress from a “Monkey” Ward catalog in 1984. I still have it and I’m still married. Thanks for sharing.

Super fun! I did see the original video when you were at that store.
So cool!

Lol yes! Armadillos jump to escape predators which doesn't work well versus cars

I had to re subscribe to your channel.
I'm sorry but I'm glad you did!
the guy with the sunglasses and white head band and his hair in a top knot, gets the road kill of the year award…what an eyesore!

I really enjoyed this shopping trip!
I’ve bought things at Attic heirlooms. In fact I bought 2 chests of drawers several years ago but pretty sure it was different owners then.
New owners at Treasure House too since I was there. They had a King’s Crown lamp when we were there that was HUGE !
Yes! He's got good stuff and is keeping the quality up
the s nail will go good with Xeno plants
Yes!
I wonder what Xeno's all-time favorite vacuum cleaner is?
He's currently a big Roomba fan...before that, it was Electrolux
2:38:22 looks like the Goethe and Schiller monument in Weimar / Germany.
A bit!
@@TheAntiqueNomadLive Not only a bit. It is an exact copy in miniature format. I compared the pictures again.

When we fitst movedi to our house the owner never changed the light fixtures and my daughtrr said they looked like dirty napkins
Lol how awful
I want that Blendo!!
Most affordable state to source vs most expensive? Thx
Oh, that's so specific to the type of merchandise you're after! I find bargains everywhere and I find high prices on things of local interest everywhere
😃
What’s the deal with those blue birds? There seems to be a lot out there and you are all picking them up.
There really are a lot, but they were American made giftware in the late 1980s and a lot of people really like and remember them now
I had 5 in the 70s or early 80s I loved them
Why is Zeno so grumpy?
We hadn’t done a lot of these and you miss out on the behind the scenes where he’s trying to get me to do the right thing and be in the right position
Why is Fenton so popular? It seems cheap.
I always miss the lives😢
I'm sorry! We'll try to keep posting on community tab
Are u in US or Canada??
US
I am wondering, do you ever stop and eat? Or do you just ear off camera?
What is the email for George?
Theantiquenomad@gmail.com
top knots went out by 80’s
white headband looks like a medical bandage.
I can just smell the ink from those catalogs as you're flipping through them. Please, no woman's shoulder pads again!!!
Lol I still haven't sold those
I stopped watching this video because it is really long and now that I wanna continue I get "This video is unavailable on this device"
I'm not sure what is causing that, it plays on my computer still just fine--??
Sorry George! Another video that is nausea creating. Between the shaking, jumping and out of focus,….I’ve got to quit this one. 😢
