Reversal of Fortune was an amazing movie. Irons definitely deserved that Oscar. He absolutely nailed the cold-hearted sterileness of Claus Van Bulow. Mesmerizing perfomance. Glenn Close deserved Best Actress for her role as Sunny Van Bulow in that movie too, but unfortunately, didn't even get a nomination.

nel film "Damage",a mio avviso il suo capolavoro,si nota un doppio danno.il primo é quello di Anna,la ragazza oppressa da un senso di colpa per la morte del fratello avvenuta per un rapporto quasi incestuoso ,il secondo danneggiato é Steve.lui è un uomo che ha vissuto una vita nella quale "avvertiva" di non essere al posto giusto.la politica é una stada che ha intrapreso per volere della moglie e del suocero,è un padre presente ma distaccato,la moglie si sente sicura della solidità del proprio matrimonio.tutto ciò si snoda su una superficie di vetro che si incrina a poco a poco,fin dal primo momento che lui incontra Anna Barton..poi,dopo la caduta,si trova un uomo solo,triste,che vive (o meglio,sopravvive)solo in un paese sperduto,dove gli hanno affittato un monolocale.nel libro,lui dice alla moglie che non l'ha mai amat,quando questa gli chiede:-non mi hai mai amato,vero?e mentre si prepara la cena,potrebbe rivolgere verso sé stesso il coltello ma non lo farà,perché adesso il danneggiato é lui e sa che può sopravvivere.ci sono anche nella vita reale le persone non del tutto realizzate,che magari vorrebbero vivere una passione travolgente.ma bisogna stare attenti:il prezzo di una vita non vita é troppo alto da pagare

Yes it is.... Just because its animated doesn't mean its not a movie. People still worked hard on it, a lot harder than a live action movie would considering they had to draw every frame by hand.
