What we do in the NT is get an upright TUCKERBOX FREEZER. freeze everything down rock hard prior to a trip and take that but don't open it. Then when at camp you can hook it up to a 2 KVA geni and run it to make ya ice and fillets to be frozen from the days trip to take home while pulling out ya beef or what have you for dinner on the day.
That is how we did it years ago as well now I don’t need to make ice with fridge in boat and I don’t keep any fish to bring home just eat some fish on the trip only take small 40ltr freezer in car for meat and bread Days of making ice are long gone for me just small bit for ice in a cold drink end of the day that I make in small plastic containers
Cracker Ep Great advise and lovely set ups, I been playing with solar for 9 years now on my 5 to 8 week trips up north I have a 100lt trailblazer and a 95lt and a 55lt upright fridge ,freezers I take the 100 and the 95lts on solo trips and all three if a Fam member or mate comes with me, your spot with how must power they suck freezing fish and making ice which I do, I generally bring home my limit of Reef fish fillets on all trips north, I have 2 x 140amp Lithium's it takes around 800 to 1200 watts of solar panels to keep it all running in cloudy weather ,
Exactly Craig the real time trips definitely sort the bullshit out how much you need to keep it all running lot of companies sell it under false information
I live in a small town don’t need to have a fancy expensive house and definitely not interested in keeping up with the Jones work for the things i enjoy in life and also my wife and boys enjoy the same lifestyle
It’s a aev they fit ram 1500 and 2500 it’s not a direct fit in airbox but I remember someone makes a adapter to fit on I cut my airbox up and modified it so it goes 5 inch straight to airbox
for the ants, the mozzy spray rid around the sides of the stuff that you don't want ants in. also helps if you get ants in your wiring harness spray around the joins

great video mate, 45km/hr on water is fast enough if you hit something. you can still get plenty of places at that speed.
