Hi Tony, really interesting looking at the footage of what it looks like to move an 8+ well but also interesting to see the guys in singles. Was it for physiological benefit or psychological as a change up from the 8+? Makes sense to go into small boats from a boat feel perspective but just interested on the why as sweep being the clear focus! Awesome watching. Cheers!
Actually both physiological and psychological. We had time due to Covid so why not change things a bit. We had the entire mens team, bth sweep and sculling together for 12 weeks.
