Interesting handrail color. I wonder if that was custom?

+WestCoast Elevators on one of the escalators one side was beige and the other side was black. I've seen red and yellow handrails before.

I've never seen any color handrails but black. Because they don't all match, I now wonder if the beige handrails were replacements?

+WestCoast Elevators Montgomery did use beige for their escalators for awhile. I think the black are the replacements

Interesting, I didn't know that. IMO black handrails look better.

I believe OTIS also used beige handrails for some of their escalators.
