WGW 2023

Whitby Goth Weekend, abbreviated to WGW is attended by Goths, Steampunks, Victorian vampires, Rockers, Punks and other subgenre.
The weekends were originally set up as a music event for Goths with music genres varying from death metal, punk and industrial.
More recently it is catering for a wider range of alternative lifestyles and some fantastic outfits can be seen in the town over the weekend.

"Goths, Steampunks, Victorian vampires, Rockers, Punks and other subgenre" - Which is exactly why it hasn't been a 'Goth weekend' in the better part of a decade. Halloween Weekend Cosplay would be more accurate. If people want to dress up fine, just a shame they had to go to Whitby and ruin the Music event. It's over priced and too busy now. If the Goths started a new one up in Bath, they would probably follow us.
