Hey, so each day ranged from say 35km to 43km. roughly 800m elevation climbed per day. roughly 8-10 hours per day? I got lucky with the weather and day 2 (Balmaha to Crianlarich) was very tough due to very challanging terrain near Inversnaid so maybe add another day if doing again. I carried everything in an osprey 20L bag as I was staying in hotels, and I pack light you can also organise a baggage drop with many companies like you say. Best of luck.
@@sam_packer8968 cool. Thanks so much. Yeah, thought that would be a massive day when you said where you were stopping! I supported someone running through there (they were attempting John O’Groats to Lands End via the 3 peaks) and it was by far the toughest day - she did Bridge of Orchy to Rowardennen. Looking at it for early next spring.
@@sam_packer8968 I’ll aim for 4. I’ll do lodge/backpacker accommodation and a luggage transfer service and fast pack it - use it as ultramarathon training and a recce - I’d like to run it in 2026.
Really beautiful walk and area 🎉
Absolutely :)
Thx for sharing!
@@Buszkraftowski no problem :)
Great video Sam. Can you tell me how long you hiked for each day (time on feet)? And did you carry all your kit or use a pack transfer service?
