  • Still very limited in what I can do physically right now, but managed to find a few small things to get done. Recently I have replaced the Master Vent Window Switch for the passenger door. That took care of the sluggish operation of the motor. Managed to find an NOS switch that was half as much as the one it replaced. Replaced the LR window motor and found out the problem was actually another master switch on the driver's door! So have ordered one from Lincon Land. Clock has gone back to vendor for a second warranty repair. Also had to re-repair the seat belt warning light assembly on the seat belt retractor.

You accomplished a great deal for someone who is incapacitated!
Continued best wishes for a full and speedy recovery from surgery.

Great looking car and in a great colour, too. Best of luck!

Well, as you know I greatly prefer the 61-64 Lincolns. However, my recently acquired 68 coupe does have one feature that is pretty cool. The huge door glass in the coupe shoot up and down as though they have a 1/4 horse electric motor on them. Pretty impressive and really quiet. The early sixties Lincolns have good power windows and 61-62 are incredibly strong and smooth but not fast.

Hi Jeff! The one 68 coupe that I had was a nice car too. Glad your windows are in good working order.
