    I love how tunisian knit looks like stockinette knit stitches, but creates a denser, heartier fabric. 💚

      Same!! It's like as close as I've seen to a "fabric" look, which can be PERFECT for some projects!

    I Love it! If I were to make a scarf how would I end it?

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  5 років тому +1

      You'd slip stitch across the entire row and fasten off.

      Hello! For a larger project, such as a blanket, you would want to use a cabled Tunisian hook.

  • @deborahsthisthat5034

    Hello,
    When you go back and drop the stitches and only have one left on your hook, is that how you "cast off" to end your project?
    TIA 😁

      You'll slip stitch across the top of the final row.

    When I started my Tunisian and got about 10 rows in, the back seemed very thick. It didn’t feel flexible enough for a scarf. Am I doing it right?

    How many stitches would I need to chain for a baby blanket?

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  3 роки тому

      Depends on yarn used and hook size, but you want it to be about 36".

    My Tunisian knitting keeps curling up - what am I doing wrong

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  2 місяці тому

      Tunisian naturally tends to curl, especially the knit stitch. Blocking your piece when finished usually helps fix it.
