- In this video, Master Larry Tatum breaks down some of the applications of the first two self-defense techniques of Short Form 3, namely Destructive Twins and Crashing Wings. I am demonstrating the techniques on Rob St. Jean from Dynasty Martial Arts. This seminar took place on September 26, 2015, the same day that I tested for 7th Degree Black Belt under Master Larry Tatum.

Always learning something new with Master Tatum! Thanks for sharing!
These videos were from back in 2015. A friend of mine shared them with me who was also at the event.
Thani you Jaime for tis video.
So glad you liked it, Sifu Cole.
Love this. And always enjoy watching Master Tatum - his stances are so solid and perfect.
Larry Tatum's technique is simply outstanding. One of my favorite experiences was partnering with him doing Two Man Set together. Wow, is he good.
Master Tatum just has a gift in transforming combative violence into art and beauty through his dynamic speed and grace. Few people in the world have shown such a level of mastery. So many try to replicate it, but there’s only one Tatum.
Very true. I felt that "art and beauty" most when we were partners doing the Two Man Set at one of his seminars. It was an unbelievable experience.
If I recall Grandmaster Parker said Mr Tatum "moves like him" (him being Parker). That has always seemed to be the case.
I also remember hearing a certain Kenpo practitioner say that Mr Tatum's unique physicality brings a different dimension to the art especially due to his long arms. Fascinating.
Master Tatum also played the role of Ed Parker in the movie, Protecting the King!
@@SeabrookMartialArtsAcademy I remember that. That was a cool scene. Elvis loved Ed Parker.
Yes, there is some incredible history there.
I've got the volume up 100 % and can barely hear this
Hi Joseph. I did not know this video even existed until about one week ago. The person filming it was probably too far away. I hope you enjoyed it anyways. There is a lot of good instruction here.
