The brown is a great choice. I've had a B6 in that colour this year which I use for a Planner Planner, i.e. for keeping track of everything related to my planner and journal hobby. It has stood up excellently despite me completely thrashing it all year - excellent quality. Hope you enjoy yours!

With your journaling - since you want the accountability of a daily page/entry, I recommend dating the next day the night before :) I do this with date stickers, then I just write as little or as much as I want the next day. At the very least,if I don’t actually journal, I write out 2-3 notes on gratitude from that day. I call this ‘micro journaling’ (I didn’t make it up but this is how I use it) and THEN since my journal pages are undated, I use putting that sticker down the night before as my ‘accountability.’ Idk if any of that was helpful 😂
That’s a good idea to date it for the next day after writing. Simply but effective. I don’t have a standard amount to write each day as long as I write something.
I really enjoyed this video! I bought the Hobonichi Ave back in 2017 and wasn't a fan and it sat on my shelf. This past summer I decided ti give it another try and have been using it ever since and just relating the pages, but... I also have and was using a SI Common planner A5 - but more as a journal than a planner. I was torn for 2025 so I bought both, the Hobonichi Cousin in English and the SI Common Planner in A5 in the Mulberry, which is gorgeous. Mind you I also have 4 other planners for 2025 as well - that video is coming out soon! I realized that part of my planner conundrum is that I get FOMO when it comes time for new releases. I really wanted a SI Common planner in A5 Mulberry but she took so long to release them with there staggered release that I went ahead and bought the Hobonichi, as they released theirs much sooner, forgetting that I preordered an A5 from the Rosie Life Planner, which still has not arrived. Erin Condren just got me this year and the other 2 planners I PR for and love. Listen, it's once a year. I will find a way to use them all from planning, to bible journaling, to personal journaling to home projects and more.
@@mjplansallthethings wow that is a lot of planners. I wish I could get everything into one planner. I have been able to get most things in. I use the end pages to journal. So I was really happy about how SI set their pages up.

What do you do for Bible journaling? I have a big massive spiral Bible for artistic Bible journaling, but I don’t know what I’m goi g to do for daily study.
I’m also trying to figure how to use and what to use for a health wellness planner/journal.
Great video. The card can be used as a pencil board, that is how I use it and it works well.

I am like you I am sitting on the fence. I have enjoyed having my 2024 Hobonichi this past year and decided midyear ordered the Avec because it was on sale for the last part of the year and try that out. I loved having the effect, but I still find that it’s not exactly what I need and think that the Sterling inks in two books might be the ticket. My question is have you tried your previous covers or cover that you may have had with your ho to see if the Sterling ink A5 will fit? I love my cover that I ordered from Hobonichi and would love to keep it for my Sterling inks if I decide to order the A5 Sterling instead of another Avec. Your thoughts? Loved the video.
Thanks for watching and commenting!!😊. I don’t have a leather cover or anything like that. I did take the clear cover off of my Hobonichi to see if it would fit. It does fit! It’s a Midori notebook clear cover. I bought a Midori notebook/ clear cover combo set from Amazon so I’ll going to use that Now someone said Sterling Ink was going to have clear covers so we shall see if they are interesting or just plain.
Get monthly sticker kits so you can change to Sunday start. Planner Kate is great
