Your video helped me take that leap of faith & go with this level setup. I’m running 285/70/17 (33s) on the factory wheels & absolutely no rubbing whatsoever. Just my opinion, but these mid-size trucks look perfectly proportioned on 33s. The stock tires are scrawny & 35s start getting cartoonish. I run 35s on my Jeep, but those fender wells are massive, so it’s about balancing the components & realizing that I’m not going to be wheeling these rigs anywhere near their limits.
nice. they look great. i'm kinda missing you carrying the purse though. i spent a number of years in the carson valley from the mid 80's to '91 maybe. some good trails back then.
Nice looking truck! Going to put mine on 33s soon, just haven't decided weather or not I am just going to shell out the dough for the BDS lift or do a leveling kit with some AEV trim kit to make it work. Have to recover from my 6K tune job first....and I am still throwing a code.
its like im watching my own truck. got the same color and same 589 level.only difference is im running Method 703 on KO2 285/70/17. Was rubbing but fixed it with custom alignment. Basically maxed/positive caster made lower control arms push forward.
You make that all look easy. The wheels look the same as the stock ZR2. Am I correct that your video only shows the new taller tires with the stock wheels? It looks like the one inch leveling kit is really all that is needed to prevent rubbing and you gain an inch in clearance. Pretty awesome.
Almost 100% sure this was my Dad's ZR2 that he traded in...Reno Champion Chevy? I noticed the Borla exhaust, tail step, and my old bakflip mx4. I'm glad it found a good home, nice wheel choice!

Would you measure the distance from ground the bottom of front fender at wheel center line? Been so long since mine was OEM I don't recall. I think I was around 36.5" after I did the 589 level. With 33's and PCO's I'm 39+". I cut one round off the bump stop for more travel, then went to Timbrens.
i put a 2-inch level on my 2021 zr2 and its level i don't think a 1 inch actually levels it. i bought a 2 inch level kit from truxxx and it came with front and back lift but didn't need the back to be level. the part was really well built not that thin crap you see in some kits.truxxx said if i didn't need the back they would take it back and give me part of my money back but ill keep it in case i start hauling heavy stuff .they were really great and walked me threw it . most companies wont take the time they did to give me the confidence to modify something i just spent over 50 grand on.
I was trying to find the same bolt pattern for my ZR2 (6X120) for the wheels on the Dirty Life website but I can't find them. Can you help, I'm assuming you have the same bolt pattern? Thanks👍

Dirty life wheels -12 offset. But I kinda wish we would have gotten 0 offset.

Would you happen to know if I need a spring compressor for a spring spacer? My leveling kit is with a spring spacer instead of a strut spacer

It came with a Borla exhaust installed. It’s mellow but we like it.
I jus got my 1” leveling kit in from rough country jus curious how thick are your spacers mine are 1/2” thick is that right
