Good looking wheels. I really like the OEM ZR2 wheels but I may change my mind. I've had 4.10's for a over a year now and got 33's on about four months ago, I like the way it drives, 600lb springs up front and a AAL in the rear.
When I was investigating AEV's trim kit to allow for 33s they indicated that rims should have about 20-25mm offset to avoid rub. In looking at Method Racing wheels for our Colorados they all seem to have zero offset. Can you please report back after you've spent some time off-road? Thanks!
So has there been any issues with the 0 offset? Because I was always looking for wheels that weren't either black or chrome and then Method came on the scene!
Gotta question for you. Since you got 285/70s on. What about 33 12.5. I can bet they rub but how much do you think? And do you think a spacer would fix it? I've read that people have fit them stock.
I’ve got some oem wheels with 32’s that only measure 31.6” that I put on the 19 zr2 after I bought it a month ago, removing the black rims and oem size tires. I haven’t been able to sell the black rim and tires so I’m considering selling the tires separately and possibly painting the black centers bronze, get some 33’s for winter and get a leveling kit for the front. I’m torn on 4.10 gears but with what that would cost it’d only be another $3k for an sc. hmmmm 😊
Just got the AEV clearance kit and 33s with Method 316s. Truck is looking good. Would you recommend with that size to even do the rear install of the AEV kit? Is that mostly going to come into play when heavy flex?
Any luck testing for rub to date? We have 2 ZR2 Bisons and a place north of Scranton if you want to test. Want to do a video installing AEV fender flares, wheels on both Bisons to show options?
Have you flexed it yet? It almost looks like it will still rub with the AEV trim kit. I know I hacked quite a bit to keep mine from rubbing with 33's and I only have +20 offset wheels.

On a ZR2? Yea no problem IMO.
