Touching on the prison movies, an underrated movie is 'an innocent man' with Tom Selleck, absolutely incredible film. As far as game movies, the new mortal kombat reboot is awesome, you dont need to play the games to know whats going on, its just over the top fight sequences 😂 My favourite Bond movie is Livence to kill but skyfall is a very close second, love the grittiness. One night rental and Clerks would be great together 🤣😂🤣😂 little secret, one night rental was originally supposed to be shot in black and white. Awesome vid as always mate, stay safe 👊
Scum was originally a BBC play for today in 1977 directed by Alan Clarke which tney banned, no showing until 1991 on BBC-2 slightly different cast, including David Threfall, it then re surfaced as a movie and a cast change, it was first time I saw Phil Daniels with Ray Winstone of course. My fav movie set in New York is Midnight Cowboy 2nd place it’s Manhattan. With Kes Colin Welland went on the write the Oscar winning Chariots of Fire that famous speech of his “the British are coming” and he was right the very next year Gandhi swept the boards.
Hello Tone; fantastic video as ever man 😀🍿🙌🎸🎶 I definitely be on the look out for ‘Life After Kes’ book; thanks for the recommendation bud; I got the Eureka Blu-Ray aswell; picture quality looks great 👌 I got the Soundtrack aswell; love the Ornate score; I watch ‘Kes’ every year without fail; in my Top 20 films ever 🙌 Superb choices with ‘Taxi Driver’ & ‘Saturday Night Fever’; love both of them films; ‘Taxi Driver’ is my fav Scorsese film and most likely my fav NYC based movie aswell Tone; many great films to take place in NYC; grew up with both Spider-Man Sam Raimi trilogy 😀 ‘The Brood’ is a great atmospheric Cronenberg film; really good Body Horror film; definitely deserves a 4K release at some point. I would love to see ‘The Motion Picture’ on the big screen Tony; I mentioned in my Double Bill video that it make a great double feature with 2001 which is my second fav Kubrick film after ‘The Shining’ my favourite Horror movie of all time; absolutely adore the Stephen King Novel 📚 Some of my videos have taken place in my back garden and when I recorded Part One of my Book collection; you wasn’t wrong Tony; the weather was super windy that day lol 😂 Thanks for the lovely words about the Book collection first instalment bud; I be back to recording vids again this coming week 😀🍿🎸🎶 I been meaning to check out that Chris Difford book for sometime now; definitely one I need to rectify at some point; also that book about the band XTC who one of my favourite ever bands. 70’s/80’s Punk/Post Punk/New Wave scene has to be my favourite era of Music ever 🤩 Keep up the awesome work Tony mate and hope you keeping well and had a fantastic weekend and week ahead 😊
