Good day! If my motorcycle with that kind of clutch has a knocking sound specialy during cold start idles. Is that the kind of fix applicable to it? I want to know since a mechanic from the motorcycle where i bought it told me that it is coming from the clutch which he said that it's quite normal but i hate the sound of it.
Indeed it's quite normal during cold start idles. It really doesn't sound good. So If your mechanic saw the problem and decided it is the well-known feature, it isn't a real problem.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling thank you so much i'll keep watching your vids for reference and knowledge.
Hii and thank you for video.
I live in Europe. Dont know what to chose. Innova anf 125 or wave 110i.
Wich is more reliable and can find spear parts in Europe. From where to find spare parts for innova or wave?
@@stelic9515 Thank you so much for your compliments. I do not know any differences between the models except that one has 110cc injection and is more fuel efficient, the other a little stronger with engine 125cc carburetor. As far as I can see, and I do not have a complete statistical picture, these model production has been halted due to a problem that caused early engine failure (manufacturer denies). My engine failed after 39,000Km because of a defect in the crankshaft bearing bracket(metal ring). The implementing of the metal ring as one part of the aluminum casting of the right crankshaft cover is faild during that casting process. Maybe soon I'll upload a detailed video of the failure. That amazing series Cub's are easy and cheap to fixing, and as a result I did the general overhaul project myself and at very low costs.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling Thank you alot. So wich models have or had problems. Wave 110i? or Innova 125.?
im surprised and pleased to see that you can just buy the clutch weight itself and not the whole primary clutch assembly, thanks for showing us the parts number brother, keep the informative video coming, you also get my subscription

thank you for your very informative video salute to you sir👏👏👏

Nice work
Nice and informative video
Thank you very much
I need the primary clutch unit. Can someone help me?
My clutch seems to be slipping in the higher gears. I was recommended to replace the weight set as well as the clutch drum that you show at the end. Thoughts? I was going to replace the friction plates/disks... but after being recommended this, I am not so sure.
Anyone who takes the services of a licensed mechanic should develop confidence in him, if there is no trust it is not good. It is possible that the recommendation you received is correct, and it may be different. When you open the right engine cover, a more accurate picture is exposed. I have not tried and do not have the right device, maybe today you can look at the state of the two clutches with a boroscope through an oil filler opening?
Good luck if my motorcycle clutch is not working when I applied it what will be done?
Hi, I would apply the simplest thing, to check that the clutch adjustment screw that is fixed in the right engine caver, check that the clutch is adjusted correctly.
Later you can try to look with a borescope into the clutch area, passing the borescope through the oil filler opening.
Sometimes something breaks, or something is not assembled correctly, etc. Maybe the pads are worn out? Maybe the bell is worn out?
If you have no previous experience, do not hesitate to contact a qualified mechanic, to consult with him and receive a quote for the repair.
Good Day, who do i know that its time to change clutch weight with out opening, is their a sign/hint for me to know. thank you and God bless
Hello to my dear friends. Look over here:

My xrm 125 when the gear is engaged then i apply throttle there is a knocking sound .but in neutral even 8k rpm there is no knocking sound.. what is the cause of knocking sound??
This has happened to me in the past only in first gear, And only when the engine is cold. I think it's because of the centrifugal clutch, and it disappears if you open a more determined throttle. Today it does not happen to me. Maybe this is what's going on with you, and maybe something else?
Hi, i have a semi-automatic Honda Wave 125cc. What might be the cause of gear not able to kick up or down for multiple tries and loud pop sound when changing gear?
As usual, we start with what is simple and cheap:
Maybe you adjusted the clutch screw backwards, and by mistake you turned the adjustment screw in the opposite direction, and now your clutch does not separate at all???
Try to check that the adjustment screw of the clutch is set correctly.
The more complicated case requires opening the right engine case, and it may later be necessary to remove the engine from the frame and open the crankshaft box... start with the simple thing.

Why you dont replace the clutch bell, there is linning inside, is that ok?
Hi, I'm not sure I understood your question.
In my opinion, the grooves that the pads marks on the bell do not require automatic replacement of the bell, the bell need to be checked, see its total current condition, and only then decide.
What happen if you did not replace clutch shoe spring?
I guess nothing special is happening. That springs are very cheap, and compared to the main cost of the repair, which is the time you invest for the repair, or the labor time you pay your mechanic, so at the point when all the parts are already out, it's worth replacing them too. The recommendation is to replace, but if they are in good condition I don't see any problem keeping them as it is.
Thanks for sharing
Why is one way clutch used for?
This is related to the semi-automatic clutch mechanism. During a gear change, when the main clutch pads are separated, then there is a small pad that brakes the drum of the centrifugal clutch, this is to disconnect the input shaft (this is similar to closing the throttle when changing gears with a manual clutch). The manufacturer's instructions are in any case to close the throttle, but there is also this patent.

Thanks for answering.
Most motorcycle camshaft has one way clutch. In vehicle there is not any sprag on the cam shaft. And i have seen just on motorcycles.
What does this sprag matter?
How about the clutch housing?is it still good even theres ridges?
Yes, only at the time of disassembly I did not mark all the parts with paint strip, so they did not return exactly to their place. It took at least two months for the pads to find their place and stop slipping. Who that want to replace pads is recommended for him to replace pads + pressure plates. And yes, the clutch, if using the motorcycle at normal uses, holds like a new (thickness 2.7). Look over this video:

@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling imean the clutch outer that holds the wieght clutch.here on our country we call it clutch bell/clutch outer (not clutch housing,my mistake). Is it still ok even it have ridges on it? Is the clutch wieght still grip on it? Some local mechanic here they used sand paper to smoothen the surface for the wieghts to grip more.is there any issue even if i dont smoothen the surface of the outer clutch/ clutch bell?
Oh sorry. I know the "bell" term. Manual sanding, it is not good, because it is not possible to produce like this a good cylinder for the bell. Using a lathe with an engraving knife does help, because it not only give a good cylinder shape, but also ensures a centerd cylinder. In addition the lathe must not exceed the maximum cylinder diameter allowed for this type of repair.
Manual sanding of the surface may help but only for a short time.
In My INNOVA I decided to do nothing, and leaving the grooves created by the used pads as is. For me, so far everything works fine.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling tnx sir for answering my questions.i already replace my friction plates but still its not my desire torque like b4 when it was bradnew.i already brought it to the dealer to chechll by thier mechanic and so far may piston rings, valve seals ang athe compression is still good,so the mechanic told me that there is no other culprit but the one way clutch and he said mybe it was worn out. my other biker friend with the same bike as mine suggest me to replace the one way clutch as a whole assembly but its too expensive.all i can afford is the wieghts.i use my bike from work/home and as a delivery man for my company.maybe i will try to replace the wieghts only..thanks again sir and more power to you! 😊
P.S. sorry for my bad english.
I hope we have this parts in the Philippines too.. its hard to find original parts
Replacement parts, not original, can be of a high standard, and it is also possible to order parts from abroad by mail
can you give me a link for the parts
To my knowledge, UA-cam blocks third-party links. A free search on Google's search engine will take you to some of the top internet stores in the field, there you can choose the most convenient deal for you. You can check out my favorite list of shops here:

Hey...is it recommended to put an engine oil on the clutch weight?? Please reply thanks..
YES
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling my motorcycle start dragging cause i think i didnt put an engine oil to the weights...
It is possible, but on the other hand the oil gets there anyway, so in the end there will be oil on the pads. Maybe your Bell was very worn and required replacement? And possibly maybe incorrect clutch tuning? Continue to monitor the fault, and if necessary get an opinion from a licensed mechanic.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling my drum is also new
It is sometimes difficult and impossible to help remotely through the internet. Try get an opinion from a local licensed mechanic.
Hello sir. What is the size of castle wrench?
Centrifugal clutch 24 mm. Main clutch 20 mm. In the centrifugal clutch I had to lower the outer diameter from 30mm to 28mm.

Maybe yes, I'm not sure, and I do not want to mislead you. You should check that the dimensions are 1: 1 identical to the used pads you are replacing.

Why is my motorcycle with new clutch weight... but still jerking??
There are a few reasons, and maybe some athers that I don't think about them now: It can happen when the drum worn. This can happen with the clutch discs when we return the set in a different order and angle, and then it takes them time to re-adjust. Maybe You should consider a clutch tuning. It is difficult to give full help for these types of problems online, please go to a qualified mechanic who will see the problem in his eyes and give you a more accurate advice.

Would this fit a 1998 yamaha zuma 50
No my set this is not suitable for Yamaha. I understand Yamaha is a scooter with an automatic gearbox of the variator type. It has a centrifugal clutch in the rear axle of the transmission, but it is not the same parts.
ua-cam.com/video/15VHYgEHfKA/v-deo.html
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling Will it not fit?
No, in my opinion not, but feel free to watch the following video for yourself:
ua-cam.com/video/15VHYgEHfKA/v-deo.html
The principle is similar, a centrifugal clutch, but the parts are different, and not the same size and not the same shape as MyINNOVA.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling Thanks. I think I'm going to purchase this one because it is my only option.
No NOT good at all
how many millimeters is the thickness of the Centrifugal bell
1:48
Minimum thickness of the pads is 1 mm
3:37
The maximum diameter of the bell is not more than 104.3 mm
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling the thickness not the diameter
@@mogias7
I can't give you this measurement.
If the bell is currently in your hands, then measure the outside diameter, subtract 104.3, and divide the result by two. But according to the Hondas manufacturer, there is no meaning in measuring the thickness, because the outer diameter is not accurate. You need to check the inside diameter.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling..why can't you give them to me? i.e. what will happen if you measure it? the most essential is the thickness measurement... the outer diameter is accurate
@@mogias7
The manufacturer only gives the internal drum/bell size. There is no measure for the outer drum/bell, and there is no measure for the thickness of the drum/bell wall. If my engine was open I would measure it for you. It's not that I don't want to, I simply don't know. And I didn't really understand why it so important to you.
Hi, my wave 110cc is 10 years already..I'm planing to replace the clutch shoe. Do you recommend to replace the bell too?
Hi. In my opinion the number of years is less important, it matters how many miles the motorcycle has done. I was replaced my pads at 39,000 Km, and wasn't replace the bell. A decision can only be made after seeing the bell with your eyes, and measuring how uniform the diameter is and how smooth is the surface. In my opinion, the grooves that the pads marks on the bell do not require automatic replacement of the bell, the bell need to be checked, see its current condition, and only then decide.
@@MyINNOVAMotorcycling now its 96,000 km. Is this a sign that on 2nd gear @ 40 km/h speed it vibrates alot. Then shifting on 4th gear it feels lack of power. What you think?
The problem you are describing may also apply to other cases, such as a problem with the main clutch.
Maybe you need to adjust the main clutch, and then see what to do next?
Do not continue to ride like this! it is very dangerous!
Please get to a licensed garage, which will check the source of your problem, and repair what is needed.
Replace this bell depends on its condition, what is the condition of your bell? Very good, good, reasonable, maybe requires replacement? ... Do you know how to say it is the first original? Or it has been replaced before ... as I wrote to you, the replacement is something that needs to be decided when looking at and measuring a particular bell.
I already order online bell and clutch shoe. The secondary clutch are new. When im going top speed test it stay @90kph only.. well i will tell you what happen after i replace new bell and shoe to the mechanic. Thanks
@@zkeel468
If you do not intend to replace the pads in the main clutch, then it is important that you do NOT take them out of the clutch basket (along with the basket, do not take them out of the basket), and if you take out, make sure to mark the (1)direction and (2)angle, and (3) the order, of all pads and discs. Because if they do not return exactly to their place, it may take them a while to take a place according to the new location, and by then there may be sliping. Good Luck
