Board clears are irrelevant, the point is that you kill Velen so he can't be Polymorphed. A board of 1/1's isn't a problem to Frost Lich Jaina, being killed instantly is.
I have no idea how aoeing his own board could possibly be a good thing, I am honestly really confused, the chances of him actually getting velen using eternal servitude were like 30% at best
Gallery's board presence didn't matter he needed to get them into his deadpool, otherwise if mage was experienced he would poly the velen or maly then ping and aoe.
why not just use holy smite on the Velen and leave the rest of the board up? if it is going to get removed i see no need to remove it personally make your opponent do it, and get another death knight card?
Anduin is good in situations where you want to win the game over a long period of time, though the extra damage and removal is nice, arguably, Ziliax aids your early game immensely, when paired with Eternal Servitude, and Holy Smite allows you to OTK decks more reliably, and overall survive.

Removing Holy Smite is removing an instant kill from your deck, and Zilliax is how you heal and survive until your winning turns. You don't need Anduin to stop control because you already instantly beat control.
Sorry, but this combo is just unfair and a roll of the dice. I was just "supposedly playing against a Mecha'thun Priest, however, without any of my input, my opponent was guaranteed to win because they had a 3 card combo. Needs nerf, my opponent didn't diserve to win that game.

Yeah in light of that fact and what Otaku said I would either swap out Thalnos or Lich King for Anduin, or just not touch the deck at all.
