I am glad that you tried the Design Essentials mousse. I love it and it is the only mousse that I am currently using. I could definitely tell the difference in your hair. Thanks for the video.
The Design Essentials Almond and Avocado is my favorite mousse hands down (and I've tried it up against Nairobi, Mousse Def and Camille Rose Honey mousse).
I've cut my hair completely off in 2021- and have gotten my hair trimmed 3x's and my natural twists are down to my shoulders - however I use the complete line of "Design Essentials!" And I love this product line!
Literally just used the Almond and Avocado for my twist out early this week. It's great and no residue or product build-up! Love it! I think I may actually try a wash and go now!
The design essentials side looks great, however you certainly have the Nairobi has been giving you life with many of the other videos, might try the DE! Thanks for this series
Thanks for this video your hair looks good on both sides. I do think your hair looks shinier and softer on the DE side.. I recently purchased the Design Essentials Mousse at Marshalls but haven't used it yet. Based on your results and your subscribers comments, I made a good choice. I look forward to seeing the next hair battle video.
The Design essentials came out awesome. Can I suggest another battle of the foams. Hawaiian Silky Triple Butter Hydrate and Define Curl Whip foaming mouse. I saw this in my beauty supply store and wondering how well it will work compared to some of the more popular brands.
So glad to see you tried the design essentials :). Honestly I feel like that anf Nairobi are like neck and neck in general they are my go to mouse. I JUST tried the mielle organic mouse yesterday and girllllll. I would put that on the list of good mouse
@@ALove4Me Mind boggling his followers still believe in him and…I won’t go on as you are right it is depressing. At the very least some got out! Thanks again.
Love the results on both but the DE side did look more hydrated after days. You’ve convinced me to start back trying foams. I’m going to try a hair milk under next time as well. Have you tried the Camille Rose foam?
@@ALove4Me I honestly feel like the Manuka Honey & Mafura one is really good. I love the hold, definition, and moisture. The Manuka Honey and yogurt one seems to be extremely lightweight and I find it a bit drying. Neither one mentions use for a wash and go but I was able to achieve one with both and I have type 4 hair. They mention up do’s, braids, and rod sets I believe. The new Design Essentials one is supposed to be strengthening and curl perfecting which makes me think it’s okay for a wash and go. I haven’t used it yet, but just purchased it. I love your mousse wash and go videos! 💕
I’ve been watching your twist out videos and just have one question! At what step do you add the silicone serum? Before the mousse? To each big section or each twist?
@@ALove4Me so I am totally confused and may not understand the purpose of the moose, yeah I know that's not how you spell it but anyway that serum is used on the hair last and then you twist or you twist it first and apply the serum?
I also watched Keep Sweet, and Omg!!! Those recordings were sooooo disturbing, I can't unhear it and I wish I could. Both sides look great but I think the design essentials side looks better
I love these battles! Before I go buy the Design Essentials mousse, can you compare the spiked honey mousse from Camille Rose? I already have it, lol. I search your videos but couldn't find a demo video on that product.
Haha. I had the DE mousse but gave it away, as I wasn’t into mousses 2 years ago. Now I just bought the Nairobi mousse. I will sea how it goes. Have you ever thought of using hair spray for hold? I checked on UA-cam and didn’t see much reviews on that for natural hair. I was just wondering if it works.
The design essentials side wins. I'm not mad at the Nairobi side either. I just bought Nairobi and I'm using it next wash day. I will revisit the design essentials once I whittle down my mousse stash.
@@ALove4Me I wasn't impressed with design essentials when previously used. I'm doing things differently these days so I expect to get better results. That's code for I didn't know what the hell I was doing ☹️.
Thank you for doing these comparison videos! Design Essentials is looks better! I need to get back into Design Essentials!! Side note: I watched that Keep Sweet documentary also. So cringy and Pervy what went on there 😳😣

The Design Essentials Almond and Avocado is my favorite mousse hands down (and I've tried it up against Nairobi, Mousse Def and Camille Rose Honey mousse).
Thanks for sharing
Guess I'll have to go ahead and finally try the design essentials mousse 😅. mousse def and camille rose are my top favorite
Do you only use the mousse or Do you use a gel first? Thanks for sharing👛👛
I've cut my hair completely off in 2021- and have gotten my hair trimmed 3x's and my natural twists are down to my shoulders - however I use the complete line of "Design Essentials!" And I love this product line!
The Design Essentials is one of my favorite foams so so good. I think it won this comparison

Great to hear!
Your hair is beautiful!! I love the Design Essentials foam, soft, defined curls for days!!!!!
Thank you so much!!
The design essential side looks fluffier and softer to me. I see the additional shine as well.😊
I think so too!
The design essentials side looks great, however you certainly have the Nairobi has been giving you life with many of the other videos, might try the DE! Thanks for this series
Very true!
I just purchased the Design Essential mouse. Looking forward to trying a twist out 🙌🏾 Thanks for your review!
You are so welcome!
I love your reviews. They are so detailed and makes it easy to decide which products to buy.
Glad you like them!
glad you liked the design essentials! I love the shine and hold it gives me
Yes! Thank you!
Hands down the designer product look better in this case. ☺️
Thanks for chiming in

Design Essentials won this round. So beautiful ❤
I'm really feeling the Design Essentials side!
Thanks for watching!
This is such a thorough review and comparison! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
DE is an accessible good go-to black brand. Great review.
For sure!
Thank you for this video. I am definitely trying the Design Essential foam.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks so much for sharing! I have the Nairobi one, but I may try the design essential one!
Thanks for watching!
Your hair is so pretty! My twist-outs always come out wonky.
Thank you!!

Thanks for the tips!
Your hair is beautiful and thank you for mentioning the documentary. It was enlightening and very sad at the same time.
The fact that it’s all still happening is just down right depressing
@@ALove4Me Mind boggling his followers still believe in him and…I won’t go on as you are right it is depressing. At the very least some got out! Thanks again.
They both look great!!!!
Thank you!

Nope, it's next up
Yay! Design Essentials! 🙂
Yes!!
Design Essentials had the better results for sure! Even though on a small level, I thought there was more frizz on the other side.
Yep, it's definitely not a HUGE difference
I agree that DE is better results I’ve used both foams and the DE foam is the winner in terms of softness & hold for up to a week.
Thanks for sharing
Would love to see you battle Design Essentials Almond Avocado against the new Design Essentials Chebe Mousse!!
Are they any different or do they just feature different ingredients?

I think she adds it when she's done twisting, at least it's what I do.
Yep, I apply the serum as the last step after using my stylers

Hey, both sides look excellent 💋
Thank you
The design essentials mousse formula has since changed. It was my favorite but the new formula is not the same which sucks.
Ugh! That's annoying

This was a great comparison video. Would you use the design essentials moose on a wash and go?
I don’t really like mousses for wash and go’s cause they don’t have any weight
It's interesting because the design essentials mousse is technically made to use for wash n gos, not twistouts.
Design Essentials side is gorgeous!! Her hair is so beautiful and she got inches💗💗
Thank you!
Design 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
My hair loves the design essential line but my skin does not. It def caused acne breakouts for me.
Good to know. Thank for sharing

Yes! It was a perv's playground. Disgusting and mind blowing
You can see right away the design essentials side has more shine
Agreed
I like both… butttt the DE side is extra cute.

what is the name of the silicone serum?
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
@@ALove4Me Thank you!
