Ki-Adi's Sundi died doing what he loved, being the voice of doubt in events embroiled in the obvious. His son, Ki-Adi-Mundi takes after him so strongly.

“People have difficulty with subjectivity in Star Wars” woof, so true. Makes me think that if the original trilogy came out today people would say “uh, Darth Vader can’t be Luke’s father, Obi-Wan and Owen said his dad’s dead!”

The point about Vader is actually what ended up happening, that's why Yoda had to tell luke in the next film that Vader is Lukes father, so that a trusted figure tells him rather than people thinking it was a deception from Vader.
@@e115mastery What gets me most is that people still can't get over "Somehow Palpatin returned" when the biggest Retcon of movie history got explained away with "from a certain point of view".
I quickly dismissed the notion that it was Ki-Adi Mundi, until he opened his gob and spoke, using his unique force power of being COMPLETELY wrong. I was like, “Oh! It is him”.😐
The show is only halfway, and I'm already tired of people talking about it. I am so tired of everything either having to be THE GREATEST THING OF ALL TIME or AN IRREDEEMABLE ATROCITY, especially when the thing itself is just kind of average. This age of hyperbole must end before all media literacy has gone extinct.
I think Rian Johnson already provided us the perfect gif for responding to people who have an unhealthy attachment to canon: Luke: "THE SACRED JEDI TEXTS!!!" Yoda: Read them, have you? Luke: *frustrated glare*
Wow I’ve never looked at it like that before. I love it! I love legends but I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t read everything there is to read. I never read the NJO series for one thing. Had one or two of them but never read them. I really, really love this comparison.
Indeed - anyone who follows "sacred" texts literally should be treated with a lot of suspicion because they can't think for themselves. The Bible, Jewish scripture, Qur'an, US constitution, Bill of Rights fall into this category too.
In Episode 1, the Council very strongly denies the existence of the Sith…when Qui-Gon and a padawan are present. But when we see just 2 members talk, Yoda and Mace not only readily accept the Sith existence, but show they have significant knowledge of it. They might just simply be shutting down rumors when lower Jedi are present, while not believing a word they’re saying.
Species that live a really long time should be special i think - and not too numerous People are more familiar with that he had multiple wives to try to help save his species or whatever If they were so long lived, one winders if their species is still endangered People know a lot more than youd think
Easy money indeed. Remember when they hissed and cried about sounds and fire in space, as if these things hadn't been established in star wars since the very first movie? They are not star wars fans, they're bots sent by their grifter of choice to derail the discourse around this show.
@@DashhunterLP beep boop bop I guess I'm a bot Its all in what suspends the disbelief - spaceship explodes and flies like a WW2 airplane People suspended their disbelief A small fire in a weirdly shot scene - some people could not suspend their disbelif But some of those same people are still enjoying the show Its not always so polarized
Once again, thank you two so much for being rational, normal people who genuinely have a passion for Star Wars. The grifty, rage bait, culture war nonsense has been a problem for almost a decade now, but it’s probably the worst that it’s ever been presently. I have no idea how you manage to stay so positive with how suffocating everything feels, but we all really appreciate it. Also, Mundi is totally in the show specifically to explain why he thinks the way he does in TPM. The show really seems to be telegraphing the fact that the Jedi cover up or whitewash whatever is going to happen with Mae’s master.
Or they all die at the end including Osha and Mae with nobody having any clue to what happened and the Sith/Jedi/ Random person with red lightsaber goes on his merry way.
It’s my opinion that there are two camps: Star Wars Fans, and People Who Love Star Wars. Star Wars Fans love A New Hope, The Empire Strikes, and Return of the Jedi (but only until the Ewoks show up and/or the revealing of “the Other”), and everything else sucks, no matter how many times they watch them over and over again. People Who Love Star Wars are the rest of us who get excited over anything new coming out and typically enjoy it. I will admit, however, that “Resitance” is my least favorite. But I will finish it. Eventually.
@@BTLemming *Two* camps of SW fans? C'mon, there are multitudes at this point... And that's a problem, because what SW 'is' is now so vast and ill defined. And let's not pretend there aren't quality control issues (to put it very politely... ) about the Disney era. They cast a much wider net, produced more content, and that's an issue. People can't just consume everything produced non-critically. That's what corporations want. I personally think there's a mass lack of perspective, especially in the screeching 'critics', which includes all the grifter culture-warriors. SW has always had quality control issues... I love the OT, and can't stand the prequels, but I acknowledge the OT is also its own mess. People just haven't engaged their critical faculties dispassionately. Even with all the missteps of the Disney era, we've had some amazing stuff being created - at times some of the best the series has ever had. I think Acolyte could've done with a few more script revisions, but I'm enjoying it. I - somewhat ironically given this video - really appreciate how it's not connected to any of the current overly entangled continuity. I'm not sure Filoni is really pulling off his grand arc/s (Mando S3 was quite woeful. Ahsoka was--- fine. I'm looking forward to S2, though), so this setting is just a breath of fresh air by comparison. Lore fetishism has never been my thing, so I don't care about Ki. Canon shifts all the time - that's just a reality, especially with large properties. People just need to roll with it.
It's been over 10 years now since Disney brought Star Wars, and I feel that's more than enough time to come to terms with that. If you're just going to continue holding that against every series that gets made, then you're just going to make yourself and those around you miserable.
literally! the only people poisoning the well here are the ones pretending like just because a corporation paid for something means it's bad. Andor exists, after all!
These days, this channel is one of the only places for level-headed takes and genuine discussion about Star Wars. Thank you for all the work you do and keep it up! :)
I agree. Molly and Alex are like the level headed mom and dad of the star wars community for me. SWFT I also love rewatching your videos on the fall of the republic and empire
I grew up watching this channel. It was my gateway to the larger Star Wars mythos and I’ve been very glad with all the lore and analysis. Once I learn about not so great stuff about fandoms, it made my appreciation Alex and Mollie Damon all the more. They will always be Number One in this fandom for me.
Literally no one. Someone thought "was he always that old", checked wookiepedia, and then made a massive deal out of a contradiction to a 25 year old card game
I don't understand how people don't get the purpose of Ki-Adi's character. Lucas is pretty on the nose most of the time with his character archetypes. The guy has a big ass head, he is obviously sure of himself and thinks he's right
This is the most likely answer right? If they find a holocron and the dude with the red lightsaber they just say he's just some rogue person corrupted Then the sith never really returned. It was just this one Jedi that fell, not some massive coverup
I had a set of Empire Strikes Back movie trading cards in 1980 that had ages for all the characters. If I recall, Luke was 24, Leia was 20, Han was 34, Lando was 36, Chewie was 204, Threepio was 148, Artoo was 65, and Vader was 56. Wish I still had those! 😂
Ki-Adi-Mundi's line about the Sith is contradicted in the movie itself. Somehow Yoda knew about the Rule of Two which implies that some rumors of the Sith still existing were floating around the galaxy. Also Ki-Adi-Mundi is wrong about a lot of things. Keep in mind he also basically accused Yoda of going senile when he started communing with Qui-Gon.
Ki Adi Mundi: 1) Isn't even sure a jedi trained Mae, Sith aren't mentioned. 2) We don't know fate of the Jedi confronted by Sith - they may all be dead before the end of the series and can't warn Jedi. 3) His birthday was legends.
To be fair, having a different opinion doesn't make you bad. If you want to ignore Legends, fine. A Cerrean birthdate or lifespan can be circumvented because it is pretty DSW. However, DSW did change kybur crystals, and what made them red. So if Darth Smiley is only a splinter faction, or fallen Jedi, or whatever is being said, and NOT Sith, how did he get a red kybur crystal into his lightsaber?
@forrestpenrod2294 Wasn't aware that it was attainable by anyone else. Not saying this is canon by any means, but... "To make a kyber crystal bleed, a Sith Lord takes a natural kyber crystal (regardless of its color) and corrupts it using the dark side of the Force. This process involves pouring all their hatred and pain into the crystal, which causes it to bleed and change."
@@Darth_Dad The reason bleeding is predominantly performed by Sith is because the Jedi are a specific religion concerning the force and the Sith are an offshoot of the Jedi. Lightsabers are a specific instrument of both. However anyone who embraces the darkside can bleed a kyber crystal but most force users don't utilize kyber in weapons. Baylan Skoll from Ahsoka isn't a Sith but he bled his saber in his fall from the light. In the time of The Acolyte the Sith have been presumed extinct for nearly a millennium. When the Jedi see the Sith Lord it would be more logical for them to assume a rogue Jedi with a bled crystal than a Sith.
@forrestpenrod2294 I can't find anything showing orange as a result of bleeding, or about Baylan and Shin bleeding their crystals either. It's that stuff sources somewhere, or your opinion based on something. Not being argumentative by any means, just trying to find something that disproves my own opinion. The research that I posted, specified Sith Lord, not just a Sith, and a far a I have been aware fallen jedi, darksiders, etc are not considered Sith.
You guys just nailed this entire debacle. Especially Mollie mentioning that half the people crying about this had no idea how old he was "supposed to be" are being outraged just because some rage bait youtubers told them to and because they were already ready to jump on anything possible to criticize the creators of this show (for the reasons we all know) and Disney as a whole.
Ki-Adi-Mundi is so confidently wrong all the time. I like to imagine other council members use him as a measuring stick for bets. Always bet against Mundi.
It is funny that the interview is from The Hate U Give since I remember a small contingent complaining about the movie not being as good as the book at that time. It is a classic example of not being able to please everyone, so just be proud of the effort you put into what you were able to produce.
Thank you guys for being your genuine selves and not hate posters. I'm genuinely shocked at the so called fans and the way they've been acting. It's so wild. If you have genuine good faith problems with the show, then that's cool! But, bad faith takes have taken hold and it's insane. I mean goodness gracious watch the whole show first and then make a final judgement. We're only half way through.
The people complaining about the birthday of a character who had 5 minutes of screen time across 3 movies are the same people that drove George Lucas to sell Star Wars to Disney. Don’t let them fool you, they aren’t George Lucas fanboys
George Lukas are artistically bankrupt and 5 billion pushed him out. I don’t think he was so think skinned to be worried about toxic fans on his million dollar ranch.
I think the major issues with the fandom are: 1) they go in with expectations (either to hate or love something or expect something to happen a certain way) 2) struggle to separate the objective story and the character’s opinions 3) unable to separate a character’s opinion from the creator’s opinion (Kylo Ren saying let the past die in VIII) 4) struggle to realise that the Star Wars they grew up with was doing the same stuff as the new stuff, they’re just older now so it’s not going to feel the same for THEM 5)often unable to let go of Legends info to allow for new canon
I absolutely agree, especially with point 3. I have been thinking about this along time, and think for a lot of people they have growed beyond it. I feel like that is hard to reconcile, it's like a breakup. You love them, but it doesn't work anymore.
I also with point number 5. "Canon is canon, Legends isn't get over it." That's what I'm tempted to say sometimes. Legends is fine and all but I have moved on now. Why can't the fandom be like that.
"Oh no! This background character no one actually cared about has been given a different backstory than the one I only vaguely remember! Burn Disney to the ground!"
No it's not just the backstory. Disney is bad because they don't pay attention to the canon, and they change everything. Ki Adi Mundi said the Sith were extinct a thousand years. That was not respected. So there for us fans will not respect their story.
this video literally explains why you're wrong! forget media literacy, people can't even pay attention for more than one tik tok video! @@guileless5205
How about in light of the Ki-Adi-Mundi arguments, a video covering all of the continuity discrepancies in Legends. Stuff like how Luke could swim in Mind's Eye but couldn't in the comics, how Evan Piell died in Clone Wars yet still survived by Coruscant Nights, or the backstories of Boba Fett.
All the people complaining about Ki Adi Mundi, remind me of 19 year old me whining that The Phantom Menace made Palpatine a Sith and Obi Wan no longer Owen Lars' brother or a native of Tatooine. It didn't make my life better and I missed out on a lot of great stuff because I wasn't mature enough to let go of trivia.
Thanks for allowing yourself to evolve as a human and recognize the importance of being humble. The biggest lesson to learn from SW is to take our arrogance and shove it deep up our ignorant asses.
Lucas already contradicted lore about Ki-Adi-Mundi. Before ROTS, it was said he was on the Jedi Council without being a master. Then in ROTS, Anakin is upset and says it's never been done before.
Ki-Adi-Mundi has either: A) Always been wrong or B) Has been covering up the truth! Which makes perfect sense considering the Jedi's downfall is about to happen.
...Yeah. It is. When you're trying to do work or are thinking of listening to music, stupid controversies happen that clog your feed. I really hope one day this vicious cycle can end.
Yeah I guess it can be hard to be open-minded not just in Star Wars but in fandoms or life in general. But the ones who continue this path and can still be happy are the people I respect and hope would keep on going.

Well said. I’m glad you guys talked about the toxicity surrounding this series, and Star Wars as a whole. As a lifelong fan it makes me so sad to see people get so hateful about something that’s supposed to be fun.
The biggest problem modern Star Wars has faced is the complete lack of media literacy of the "fans" who just care about "lore" and don't understand the stories presented to them even a little bit. The meltdown about Luke in tlj was proof of that.
What if the show ends with Ki-Adi-Mundi being elevated to the Jedi High Council for presenting a non-Sith explanation for the Acoylte's events while Sol and Vernestra are disgraced/expelled for saying otherwise?
“Maybe I will at the end of the day go, I don’t like that Ki-Adi-Mundi was in this. But, to jump to conclusions based on absolutely nothing, is wild to me” SPILL ALEX! Love y’all, loved this video and conversation 🤍✨
Not surprised people are complaining about yet another trivial footnote in Star Wars lore. Been this way since '83 going to be this way in 2053. I'll continue not engaging with absurd online "controversy" and just watch the shows judging for myself
Amandla’s career began with people saying Rue being black (as she was in the book, but reading is hard) made them feel less sad about her death in Hunger Games, so she’s been putting up with this kind of nonsense for a long time now.
I'm bracing for the inevitable uproar around Vernestra's light whip after we get a full look of it in an episode. Even though it's a cool idea and has been in the books since Legends, including the sacred Darth Bane books. 🤦♀️
My god its so great that u are so wholesome and respectful talking about Star Wars. Sometimes I really want to distant myself from this community when all I want is to read the new books, watch the shows etc (weather I like them or not). Thank u for ur healthy mindset!
Thank you guys for being 2 of the most reasonable and rational people talking about Star Wars with soo much passion, especially since the fandom is so incredibly toxic nowadays.
People have no tolerance for unreliable narrators, subtext, or even the patience to let a serial television show tell its whole story before judging it. Can you believe people think that because the new witches see the Force as a thread, that means Leslye Headland is attempting to retcon *what the Force is* rather than introducing a new group with a new perspective?
I think another thing that people over look is that the Jedi openly lie even conspire in the Prequel trilogy, even if by omission, when Yoda rebukes Mace for even suggesting they tell the Chancellor about their force sight being blocked or clouded, which is reinforced in The Acolyte when that green Jedi master conspires to keep the murder of a Jedi master quiet, because of "Political enemies". That level of denial can only be achieved by carefully cultivating an environment by influential Jedi, Yoda, Ki, etc. So far I'm enjoying the show and the mystery, which I personally don't even believe this is a Sith.
I mean Jedi lying about things for their own reasons goes all the way back to the Original Trilogy with Obi-wan telling Luke that Vader killed his dad.
@@jueljohnson41Yep! When I was a ten-year-old in 1980, and I heard that Obi-Wan had lied to Luke, I was furious. I never trusted the Jedi again. From then on, I saw them as flawed people who are capable of being devious.
Thank you for saying what you did about Ki-Adi-Mundi. People really are making mountains out of molehills on this one and need to chill out. The last episode was my favorite so far and I am now hooked to find out what happens next.
I think the only way the jedi ignore the villain being a sith is if the apprentice or “master” is a former Jedi. They have made it clear they don’t want that to get out. So they don’t trace it back to the true sith master, maybe even learn of the rule of 2 but only because they think the apprentice and acolyte are the master and apprentice.
Nobody talks about what happened at the end of Phase 2. (Spoiler) The Jedi simply concealed what happened. They made an arrangement that they will never talk about what happened on Dalna. 100 years later (in Mission to Disaster which takes place on Dalna), nobody knows about the Battle. The Jedi can do this again. Vernestra talks about the Senate and the political "enemies" all the time. And wait, they do this in the Attack of the Clones too, after Obi-Wan contacts Mace and Yoda from Kamino. They talk about they should inform the Senate, but if they do, it will have a negative effect on them. So they don't inform them. It almost the same here. Its a Jedi business, nothing the Senate has to worry about.
that's especially frustrating when you see haters who say "My LuKe WoUlD nEvEr Do ThAt!" but actually chose to believe that Luke did do that eventhough the movie tells them otherwise.
I’m so grateful for this channel and the community. Cause I’m loving the acolyte, and I was thrilled with the choice to include Ki-Adi. It just makes sense to me. I’m here for all of it.
My reasonably minded friend has told me he won’t watch the Acolyte after reading it breaks canon. I explained it was literally just Ki Adi Mundi’s birthday and he asked me if that was all it was and how he’d only read the headlines. Crazy how misinformation spreads
How is it not justified ? especially with Ki-Adi Mundi, if they did some research, they'd see the dates don't corelate and could replace him with someone else who fit the timeline.
@@s7robin105 For you to even propose that you have to establish that the show doesn't deserve the criticism to begin with. Can you do that or are you just defending it for the sake of defending it?
I appreciate your conversation about these stupid hate posts and channels that go around for whatever reason. There's no need for it and it SHOULD be called out. Thank you.
Great discussion. So sick of a certain sect of Star Wars "fandom" . So tired of the click bate videos. It's gross. Star Wars is an allegory of good people overcoming bad people. Hey internet, a lot of you are the bad people.
I saw a lot of discourse about "The show had a $180 million budget, and Kelnacca was killed off screen without showing the fight?" Or something to that effect. My thought was, we've already had a flashback episode. I bet they will circle back around to Kelnacca's death at some point in the next couple of episodes.
I’m in the camp that Ki-Adi-Mundi’s age doesn’t matter. I always thought his age was on par with Wookiee’s anyway and he doesn’t explicitly know there’s a Sith, just a splinter faction of Dark Jedi. Saying this as a D1 hater of The Acolyte.
When it comes to books, TV, Movies and other media, What exactly is the difference between a so called ‘Hater’ compared to someone who has legitimate objective criticism? What is a non-hater?, is it a blind sheep that doesn’t question anything?
@@pyramidsong I would agree that taste is subjective, but objective criticism addresses measurable flaws and these shouldn’t be automatically dismissed by docile fans with little to no critical thinking skills. Labelling people as “haters” when they have valid and constructive opinions is foolish. A person or organisation that refuses to acknowledge criticism and learn from it will never improve, the intolerant powerhouse of Disney’s LucasFilm is evidence of this.
At the 13:57 mark, I believe you are correct on your assumption. Master Vernestra Rwoh already wants to keep this a secret from The Jedi high Council, for some particular reason that is not been disclosed yet at time of posting this message. Maybe at the end of the series we will find out why. According to her in episode four she says that their judgment is clouded. I think this is the dark side of the force starting to cloud the Jedi judgment. And I think the high Council will sense this and this is when they will go into their “dogmatic view of the force” will be the beginning of the end of the Jedi. I think this is what this series is setting up for us. Showing us exactly when the shroud of the dark side had fallen over the Jedi. Remember, this is at the end of The Republic ear of the Jedi Order.
The rapid reaction clickbait nature of Star Wars coverage from a lot of outlets is fundamentally inappropriate for this kind of storytelling. Thank you so much for having the patience and positive attitude to recognize that the story is incomplete and thus we can't make any substantiated judgements on the story until it's fully been told.
Always love level headed Star Wars conversations, just people talking about their love of the franchise and what new info could mean or lead to instead of rage and crying like others like to do.
I just want to express my gratitude that you have a positive outlook for anything star wars. Even when it hasnt been great you still find things to like and enjoy because it's STAR WARS!
I haven't watched the 4th episode yet, but one of my favorite scenes in episode 3 was when Ki-Adi-Mundi's clones killed him during order 66, so I'm not happy to hear he is back.
The most annoying thing about this Acolyte discourse for me has been everyone bring up that line Ki-Adi Mundi said about the sith being extinct. Because we know for a fact that they weren't so why the hell is everyone taking that line to heart and not seeing that it's supposed to show how wrong the jedi are
I love Ki-Adi-Mundi being there. It creates a parallel between his line in Episode 1 and Tarkin calling the Jedi a myth in Episode 4. Mundi literally seeing a Sith and still repeating the official party line that they are extinct despite clear evidence to the contrary feels very prequel Jedi to me.
I love the fact that this show is introducing new stuff, new people, and adding nuance to everything we believed to be true. As a kid, the notion the Jedi/Rebels good and the Sith/Empire bad was fine and easy to understand. As an older fan who grew up on the franchise, I appreciate the nuance and the different views on these various groups, the Force, and who are the good or bad guys. I guarantee if they rolled out another movie or series with Skywalker era characters or a bunch of cameos of the same ole characters, people would complain about that. I'm personally enjoying the show but I enjoy all Star Wars. Some are better than others. Some I won't ever watch again but at the end of the day it's still Star Wars. As far as the other criticisms, we're only half through. Let's see how the story turns out.
I’m not sure if this is going to help anybody else but I have separated Star Wars into three individual timelines (with some crossover here and there). Timeline 1: Canon (also known as Disney Canon). These are the original and prequel trilogies, TCW, and everything published/released since the Disney acquisition in 2012 Timeline 2: Legends This timeline consists of the original trilogy, prequel trilogy and everything ever released between 1977 and 2012, including TCW. Timeline 3: EU This is literally the same as Timeline 2 except TCW and anything related is omitted to allow for the original clone wars multimedia project (2002 - 2005) to exist as it did prior to the retcons brought about by TCW.
You guys always make me feel so much better about my Star Wars views bc a lot of my friends who aren’t into it as much as me or as long as me and they hate on new stuff all the time. I love your guys reviews and ideas bc I love the philosophical and weird stuff about the force and the universe
Completely agree with your talk about the Ki-Adi-Mundi drama. The worst part to me is that people are completely incurious about their "criticisms" that they say stuff that is just straight up false. They don't even engage with the idea that Mundi doesn't learn that a Sith is encountered at this time or the fact that that source book had already been made legends. It is so clearly just the thing they want to use to justify their hate.
Alex and Molly, you two are GREAT and I have been a huge fan for years. You all bring positivity to a space that can be so negative. Keep doing what you do and being awesome content creatures and people. ❤
So thankful for positive channels like this, Kyle Katarn, Force Center, and LouiseJulie exist. This show has really brought out the most toxic bottom feeders in this fandom. It's nice to be reminded that not everyone who watches Star Wars is the worst.
As you guys said, Ki-Adi-Mund statement helps emphasize the fact that the Jedi have no clue what is happening under their noses. I don't understand how anyone could take the statement in TPM about the Sith as fact? Especially with all we know from the following movies, AOTC and ROTS...and especially TCW series. Ki was obviously wrong.
I tune it out and enjoy most SW shows or Marvel shows and movies that get bombed but seeing the fanbase get tired of those people and actually respond to them has been cathartic.

I am so tired of everything either having to be THE GREATEST THING OF ALL TIME or AN IRREDEEMABLE ATROCITY, especially when the thing itself is just kind of average.
This age of hyperbole must end before all media literacy has gone extinct.
I wish it would but unfortunately with how media keeps jumping further into clickbait rage articles it's only gonna get worse.

I think Rian Johnson already provided us the perfect gif for responding to people who have an unhealthy attachment to canon:

Yoda: Read them, have you?
Luke: *frustrated glare*
Wow I’ve never looked at it like that before. I love it! I love legends but I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t read everything there is to read. I never read the NJO series for one thing. Had one or two of them but never read them.

I'd be willing to bet that the people mad about Ki-Adi-Mundi's age didn't even know when he was born in legends canon before this week.
That’s easy money.
Species that live a really long time should be special i think - and not too numerous
People are more familiar with that he had multiple wives to try to help save his species or whatever

Bryan Ward has made some top notch thumbnails for you guys over the years but this is a new favorite for me.

The fact that people are so hung on that card that they vandalized Mundi''s canon page on Wookieepedia speaks to people's insistence, which is so sad.

Ki Adi Mundi:
1) Isn't even sure a jedi trained Mae, Sith aren't mentioned.
@@Darth_Dad Red is a result of bleeding the crystal that is being a darksider. Its not sith exclusive.

I think the major issues with the fandom are:
1) they go in with expectations (either to hate or love something or expect something to happen a certain way)
2) struggle to separate the objective story and the character’s opinions
3) unable to separate a character’s opinion from the creator’s opinion (Kylo Ren saying let the past die in VIII)
4) struggle to realise that the Star Wars they grew up with was doing the same stuff as the new stuff, they’re just older now so it’s not going to feel the same for THEM
5)often unable to let go of Legends info to allow for new canon
I'll get my pitchfork! 😅

It’s refreshing to hear people who get how stories work and to allow it to play out.

The only thing I care about him is if he still has a harem. I don’t care if he’s a few hundred year old or 60 by the time he died.
I’m not sure if this is going to help anybody else but I have separated Star Wars into three individual timelines (with some crossover here and there).
Timeline 1: Canon (also known as Disney Canon). These are the original and prequel trilogies, TCW, and everything published/released since the Disney acquisition in 2012
Timeline 2: Legends
This timeline consists of the original trilogy, prequel trilogy and everything ever released between 1977 and 2012, including TCW.
Timeline 3: EU
This is literally the same as Timeline 2 except TCW and anything related is omitted to allow for the original clone wars multimedia project (2002 - 2005) to exist as it did prior to the retcons brought about by TCW.
Someone said, "Ki Adi Mundi is the Jay Leno of Star Wars and I couldn't agree more!"
Care to elaborate?
@@notabot-br1lqWell, Jay Leno is a dolt, so....
@@TonyMidyett what makes him that? Care to elaborate?
You don't need a 3 camera setup and to edit the different shots, but it's cool and impressive you do.
A lot of folks really don't understand the concept of 'unreliable narrator', despite how common a storytelling trope it is.
@@MysticTrollWell, I wasn't prepared for this....glad you're enjoying it!! 😃
There's always nonsense in the fandom. I'm just tuning it out, at tgis point.
We’ll time to watch old Pixar movies to chill.
I tune it out and enjoy most SW shows or Marvel shows and movies that get bombed but seeing the fanbase get tired of those people and actually respond to them has been cathartic.
Thank you both for your voices on the discourse. I'm enjoying the show and your coverage of it.
Its insane to me that a goober like Ki Adi Mundi is the hill that so many people are dying on, that character is satire for the pretentious jedi
Y'all deserve more subscribers! I love your level headed approach. So much division these days. You're channel is a nice break from the toxic trash on social media. Thank you.
