Girl, the movie is awesome, but not everything is like how it was in real life (all biopics do this, but I don't want you to have the wrong information, so here are some things they got right and wrong in the movie (SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET!)
1/ In the movie, Dre goes to jail for getting into a violent fight, while in real life, he goes to jail for unpaid parking tickets. (it was most likely changed for dramatic effect)
2/ In the movie, Jerry Heller is the one who finds Eazy; in real life, that was flipped: Eazy finds Jerry.
3/ The movie shows the inspiration for their "F The Police" coming from an incident where they are harassed outside of their studio when it was inspired by the fact that Dre and Eazy were arrested for shooting paintballs at cars.
4/ Founding member Arabian Prince is not shown once
5/ After being told they would receive a fine for playing F The Police at a show, they perform it anyway (after hearing the crowd chant for it) and get rushed by cops; the movie shows them being arrested right on the spot when they were escorted to their rooms first.
6/ Da Lench Mob (Cube's crew) is shown in a violent fight when it was actually Above The Law who did it, and bonus: Cube wasn't there in real life (he was running a panel)
7/ The Chronic is shown being made before the LA Riots when it was made during.
8/ For some reason, they show Eazy as dirt poor when he cuts Jerry off while Eazy is still a multimillionaire in real life
9/ Dre is shown to be cool to work with Eazy when they completely leave out the fact that Dre was still feuding with Eazy (they did eventually patch things up, but later down the line)
10/ Pac didn't record "Hail Mary" at the same time as "California Love." That scene, where Dre is walking down the hallway with the dog and the guy in his underwear, was surprisingly accurate.
11/The scene where Eazy records "Boys In The Hood" is very close; the only differences are that not all of the NWA members were in the studio, only Dre and Eazy, and The HBO members were from a different city (the remark Ice Cube makes "wearing a Kangoll don't make you LL COOL J N***" is a jab at the fact that HBO was a bunch of LL clones, Cube subtly confirms it in his "Influence Of Hip-Hop" interview on Rock The Bells radio along with Mount Westmore.

That's goes to show y'all the hate crushed ice had for Eazy.. wudnt even let Eazy son play him in the movie.. tryna shame the E.. the Vaseline song is hard but I don't phuck with haters n unloyal ass people.. that's the problem with most black folks today killing they own over dumb shhh.. Most rappers did their songs in one take back then. They were recording on 8 inch reels. It was a bitch trying to rewind the reels and do some splicing with a razor and clear tape. That took about 30 mins to do it.

I was a youngster when this came out. This song and this entire album was the HOTTEST shit on the Streets, radio, barber shops and the club. The west coast was cracking something crazy off of this song. The 90’s was live as fuck.
Some of these things are in the movie some not.
But Eazy and the manager started this by telling Ren to write raps dissing Cube. In 2 songs Real Ni@@as & 100 miles and running. They said he was a traitor and jealous. So he destroyed them in one song. Eazy E didn't write rhymes Ren and D.O.C. wrote everything for NWA and Dre then and now.

This song CHANGED the diss track. This was the first time an artist actually went HARD at another artist. No silly innuendo, word play. Nothing. Just straight vile and venom. Sadly you cannot compare Eazy E to Ice Cube because if you know the history of NWA, you'd know the dynamics and what Ice Cube actually meant to the group. The songs that made NWA famous was written by ICE CUBE. Let the record be set straight. This is why NWA could not come back from NO VASELINE. They did not have anyone who could write like him.
