What a crap ! Hua Hin is still very affordable ! Yeah when I was a kid 50 years ago everything was cheaper too...
Huh? To buy a house you only need to be a multi-millionaire in baht! It is screamingly cheap.
Be aware: Nomad doesn't cover cancer treatment.
Hua Hin Vegan is a great choice

Well, if you own a car and drive ... good luck trying to find a place to park in town ....
At least you could pronounce Hua HIN properly
Please see the comments below.

im late to this video but if you are spending 500 baht a day on food you have a problem
Dear host, the pronunciation starts with "wha" that's right. "Wha - Hin".
Thanks for your comment. I do read Thai (slowly) and speak Thai (low intermediate). I've got a video coming up on speaking Thai and will cover this (with native Thai speakers) If you can read Thai then you know it isn't Waa.
@@asiawithalex No worries. I just wanted you to know the pronunciation of the town's name. (I've lived there, and know the town pretty well).
All good. There isn't a U in the Thai spelling of Hua Hin. It's written for Westerners. The U sound comes from the rising tone of HW together.
Too many traffic jam between bkk hua hin
I took the train from BKk to Hua Hin. It was 3 hours 15 minutes
I used to stay in Hua Hin for 15 years. Everything was fine until 5-6 years ago when Hua Hin goverment desided that they wanted older retired couples to come and stay there. From one day to another every restaurang small or big changed menu, putting white cloth on the tables and incresed the price eating with 100 %. I desided to change playground and sold my condo there bought a new one in Pattaya which is much much cheaper then Hua on everything. Please folks not belive any youtubers, go find out for yourself what is good for you. It might not be good for your friends.
Always put boots on the ground.
They forced the broke foreigners to go somewhere else. Awesome.
Though HH has the advantage of not being an open-air brothel, so it depends on your preferences.
Its been known for decades. Love the way these vloggers think they have discovered domething...
Who-wah Hin.
U sold it to me
It's Hwah Hin, not Hooah Hin. 🙂
I thought it was, Whoohah Heen! Both Thais and Google Translate understand my pronounciarion. I actually cut a section out of the video that had me asking the correct prounounciation of Head Stone/rock. It just didn't fit in with Cha-Am. I read thai (slowly) and speak low intermediate. One things Thais do comment on is my prounounciation being good. Anyhow, I'm kinda shocked you are the first to make a whooohah heen prounounciation comment :)
@@asiawithalex I've been living in Hua Hin for 7 years. I've never heard anyone say Hooah Hin or Heen. You could argue it's Hooah, but the accent should be on the ah part not the hoo part. 🙂
If Thais can understand me and Google Translate can also...then I'm good with that. Btw can you speak Thai?

I prefer Cha Am !😊
Awesome. Do you live there or visit?

Why do all you U tubers all mis pronouns Hua Hin? It’s not Hooie Hin don’t any of you speak to the locals? or just put these videos together a home.
Thanks for your comment. This one has been covered a few times already.. I speak Thai. Low intermediate level. I also read Thai (albeit very slowly). In an upcoming video I'll be asking Thais in Hua Hin to pronounce it because it's getting slightly comical.
It's "wha hin" not "whoo ah hin"
Hua Hin (Thai: หัวหิน). Not if you read Thai..although I didn't give the correct tonal pronunciation.
bullshit
Lived in hua hin 6 years ago god it was so boring there.
What area do you live now?

if you are a young guy, you dont want to be here.. I think the average age is 60
This is pretty basic information! Nothing that I don't already know!
Your audio is too low. I can barely hear you with the volume all the way up. If you like beaches then Cha-Am beach is nicer than anything around Hua Hin. Maybe you mentioned that but I can barely hear you.
Sorry the volume wasn't loud enough for you.
that is your system, audio is loud and clear
@@oderblockIf you click on stats for nerds you will see the content loudness is -16.5db, which is quite low. Compare that to other videos if you don't believe me. There is nothing wrong with 'my system'.
@@easystreet3429 read the comments, how many people have that complaint? One person.
Hua hin is a rip off for foreigners. Vastly overpriced food on the beach and rip off tuk tuk drivers.
I think you may just be talking about most places in the world when it comes to beach food. (australia is hurrendous for that). But I'm guessing the food would still be cheaper than the West... Personally, I would never take a Tuk Tuk. It's almost a given that you will pay 2x to 4x.. Open the Grab or Bolt app, and it will always be cheaper.
stop tell ppl to com hua hin .... els is just go look like Phuket and pattaya soon and full off russ ppl and over price every thing .......
Hua Hin was in Forbes Magazine and a bunch of associated sites. My 2k subscriber channel won't have nearly any effect.
I like living in pattaya better😊
I wonder why 🤔🤔🤔

Pronounced, "Wa Hin," not "Hooa Hin." Do your research.
Thai: หัวหิน IPA: [hǔə hǐn] . Neither Thai nor the IPA pronunciation start with W. The ห which gives the "h" sound, can be silent in some words (used as tone modifier ) but not in this case due to 2 consonants being together. If you want to test prounounciation, open Google translate and see which version it recognizes.
My goodness!😆
Thais pronounce the' H'
Hua means head.
Do more research, maybe even ask a Thai person 😄
..its all very well to make a fool of yourself,... but to do it publicly on UA-cam is a big mistake.
bullshit
Well ok….dad. 🥸
So many wrong information ! The City Beach of Hua Hin is 6 km long, next to it Takiab Beach 8+km ! There are 3 Night Markets, 1 in town the other in Takiab THU-SUN ! There are 2 big Shopping Centers here ! No the 3 Hospitals are not close together ! The Government Hospital is out of Town about 6 km ! Next time do better research !
Why indeed? The.most boring seedy little town in Thailand with no beach, dont get it
yeah, no beach, hahaha
All it has is a beach!
Learn to oronounce the name . Its pronounced Waheen
Sorry, you are wrong. See the other comments on this . Further proof..please go to Johnny There Is Something Happening yt channel for an explanation by a Thai person.
Well, heres a place to avoid then!
Hua Hin it's dumpy.. there are much better places to live.
