Ramen is a subjective topic. I live in Fukuoka so I've had Ippudo and Ichiran a zillion times. Delicious, but I sometimes crave good Sapporo Ramen, I love the thicker noodles, the miso broth and the layers of bamboo shoots and other veg.

Qantas standards have slid dramatically since the toxic Irish dwarf destroyed the airline. Now the service is B grade but the fares are still right up there. Even business class is average. Embarrassing for our Airline
It's all about cost cutting at most airlines now

We will be over there for 3 weeks shortly with an 11-year-old who likes to keep busy and I'm planning to split it up between sometime in legian and some in Kuta but now considering adding some time in Sanur do you think three nights is enough. To have a good look around and experienced it?
3 nights in Sanur would be a minimum. Legian and Kuta are right next to each other so nothing gained staying in both those locations. Kuta has some great activities for kids, like the waterbom park.
You should probably try to spend a few more nights in Sanur and organise some day trips from there. Get across to Nusa Lembongan island, go up to the wildlife park / marine park.
@@nowgettheretravel6877 yes I know they are next to each other it's more about breaking it up into different resorts to experience and try different places and being close to different warungs etc. have been the waterbom and will definitely be going again

The Sanur boat harbour is located in the northern area of Sanur. Maybe 5 minutes by taxi from the heart of Sanur
You stopped too early. There are still some hotels and restaurants further up north, passed the Le Mayeur museum.
There are more, even more down south

Unlimited? Are you a glutton? I doubt any airline offers unlimited drinks, escpecially in economy

It's the sheer variety of buffet breakfasts in Singapore that (still) amazes me....Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, and 'Western' - which in itself can range from French continental style, to a German cold cut spread, to the full English breakfast. I've been lucky to roam the world several times over, but for sheer variety, it's hard to beat Singapore in the Breakfast Game.
So true. I think same for many 5 star hotels across South East Asia. In Jakarta and Bangkok is the same with the huge variety. Sometimes I will lash out and try something completely different for breakfast like an Indian Curry with rice or Nasi Lemak with loads of sambal chilli. Other times I stick with my boring Aussie breakfast of Poached eggs with toast, banana and a coffee.

Nice QF food review. I know many folks grumble about economy catering in Australia in general compared to the highs of the 80s and 90s. But if they ever took U.S. domestic flights with the legacy carriers, they'd realize we still have it pretty good with both QF and VA. Personally, I also never complain about the fare on QF or VA ;) As an aside, I see you lucked out and had to catch the 737 instead of the a330 up to CNS...I love domestic a330 routes!!
